Indies or Agencies?

Agency. They are more businesslike. It will be better for you if it is your first time.

Reputable Indies, they are more personal and less rushy than agencies, will live you better memories at the end.
You can exchange with the lady beforehand, you can probably highly even talk to her also before meeting (depending the lady) with her, and this is more discrete also.
You will meet someone who is "fresh" not having met many "clients" the same day, so much more probably interested in the meeting and to you, also.
Enjoy and have fun, whatever will be your choice.
ps: everybody will tell you what they are doing themselves, that's obvious!

I always research the reviews for each lady to know who is best for me. That's the first thing to consider.

A good clue is when the booker takes the time to discuss different ladies and is willing to say this one or that one is not right for you. Be skeptical if the booker acts like any of his escorts would be great.

If you want to try a different variety of SP's, then agency is the way to go. If you are doing incall, then Euphoria, XO, Nadya's & MTLGFE come to mind that I've used and would recommend. Outcall, you can add Vogue & XXXtase to that list, they are also very reliable (sadly only outcall though).
If you want to have a more regular connection, you can do it through agency, but keep in mind that especially for the popular agencies, the SP's book up super-fast. So going agency means you don't get your ATF each time. The other issue is that turnover affects agency rosters, so if you get attached to 1-2 SP's, you have to do some work if they go somewhere else (SOL if they retire or semi-retire, and don't advertise publicly).
Indy definitely provides a hobbyist "foreplay" experience (text/chat directly to SP, and often can get a little build up before), and if the SP is available, offers the chance to book with fewer competitors. On the flip side, if they suddenly become unavailable, you don't have an easy plan B available.
I've done both agency & Indy, and they definitely both have their pluses and minuses. I think it's more important you zero in on what you are looking for, and then try to find the right Indy/agency fit.

Personally, i prefer agencies. I hate pre-booking.....makes me anxious.....and the best indies usually require pre-booking at least a day in advance. Plus, they are often more $$$ than the average agency. And if an independent cancels, you're fucked. At least when an agency girl cancels, the best agencies will usually go out of their way to find you an adequate replacement. Well, that's been my experience anyway. I also prefer paying $180-220 and quite often the top indies (or the ones i'd like to see) are usually asking more than that.

Yeah, that's why I lean to agencies too - don't get me wrong, I love being with the right SP, but predictability and schedule reliability is NOT a strong suit here lol. I don't get to come to MTL more than 1-2x a month, if I'm lucky (other than a couple of weekends a year, where I get to play), so nothing sucks more than having ZERO plan B when your SP cancels. Agencies usually can find a solution, and that's huge, when you only have so many chances to hobby.
I agree that indy SP's that are known quantities and offer a great experience, save one jewel Indy, are just as, if not more expensive. So there's that, too. I can see why they'd be worth more, if they are reliable, you are getting a more tailored experience, and the likelihood of a good time for everyone goes up exponentially. That's a win-win for both SP & hobbyist - it's a job first and foremost, but if the guy's happy at the end, the job must be so much easier (and sometimes a little fun, I'd hope) for the SP, and for us, getting the great time as more of a sure thing, well, that's sometimes well worth the extra $ for us to pay (to an extent, of course). If the Indy SP's not so reliable, well, that's a big drawback. I've some Indy SP's pair up, and that's a great idea IMO - can't always back the other up, but it offers a shot.
If you are someone who gets anxious about pre-booking then Indies are not for you. But I don't see the advantage of same day booking. If you want quality same day calling is like a crap shoot. You're competing with other calls, if she is available. If you haven't met her already you have little if any idea how she might match up together with you. It's likely you will be slotted in between meetings inconveniently and you may have to deal with her feelings about something that happened with previous clients just before you meet. Sometimes she decides she's had enough by a certain time and cancels her night when it's already too late to get another preferred choice by that time.

With an Indy you have much more individual attention and opportunity to get comfortable with her, and in my experience much more reliability and certainty. If something does go wrong the agency option is always there. I prefer to keep both options open. I can always see agency ladies any time while I'm arranging something with an Indy.

I was blessed by meeting this lady twice, she is very human, and she is a good listener, and I do not think you must be the ultimate listener to meet her, just be yourself, be kind with her , no rush, tell her what you like and yes she is very adaptable.

You are talking about two different situations. One focused on an individual, one saying agencies in general with hundreds of options.
It's happened to me with an Indy. It will happen sometimes whenever you focus on one or few escorts. If you are wide open about hundreds of choices on any given night it's almost can't miss. Try for an individual agency escort and it's the same problem. As I've said, I've had numerous specific agency escorts on my top TDL on various nights only to end up checking many of them off as taken or not working. Locals are lucky they can move onto the next night or week.
