Every time I see someone on instagram connected to another sp i see, I wonder if they also are in the business. It happened to me once out of the blue. I booked someone new and it happened to be someone I was following on instagram!

I know we cant share those details here, but I wish we could! Would love to know what some of the women's faces look like before booking them.

Some ladies set up social media accounts to display what they look like but there is no hint of the SP aspect in the account.

I really think these kind of topics should stop popping out . Y’all really need to respect our privacy and the boundary we put.... we don’t want clients to be on our social media or assuming that all our friends are also sps or whatever . There are a lot of sps in montreal , we are all approximately the same age and we probably know some without even knowing they are sps so don’t ask, don’t look unless their social media is advertised. It is really annoying lollll.

I agree with Amanda.

Let's see how the johns would feel like if the girls would start sharing the johns' personal profiles on social media.

I hear ya but it is a slippery slope. Privacy or the lack of privacy is probably the #1 barrier to entry for SPs. Start sharing their private FB accounts and Instagram accounts and girls are going to leave the business and other girls are not going to enter the business. In this brotherhood/sisterhood of our peculiar hobby, we all need to respect each others privacy. Livelihoods depend on this. Having said this, I'll bet girls are outed more by other girls and boyfriends than customers. I keep hearing stories about jealous girls (the girl that can't stand another girl's success while she sits idle) and jealous boyfriends as the source. There is a infamous vindictive agency owner in Toronto that is said to out girls to their families for undisclosed reasons. If you don't believe me look at this Twitter account: https://twitter.com/jillianthephony Would you trust this agency with your private information? I think not.

Unless an SP advertises a social media acccount or personally gives it to you don't go looking for them... that's pretty much what makes a creeper a creeper.

Instagram isnt sex work friendly n if they want to show their face theyll do it on twitter.. make friends with people who know many girls or be close to agency bookers or owners but dont share on public or to everyone

I just want to be clear that I dont plan on outting anyone or publicly sharing anyone's instagram nor do I invite anyone else to do so on this thread. I guess the thought itself is selfish, but you've all made great points as to why it's an extremely bad idea.

I dont do social media. no facebook or twitter. I only have instagram because an SP had me create it so I could follow her to boost her followers count.

For me the face is very important. I guess I'll have to hold out hope that someone restarts the VIp parties.

I agree with Amanda.

Let's see how the johns would feel like if the girls would start sharing the johns' personal profiles on social media.

Interesting though--this is what Laura Cohen, who describes herself as a former SW and currently makes a living screening for SWs, does. Check out this thread where she actually sets up a Twitter poll based on the personal information she gathered while on a screening assignment:

https://twitter.com/LauraCohenSolo/status/1223671175957635072

https://twitter.com/LauraCohenSolo/status/1223667822636797952

The "screenee" is a guy who was convicted six times for throwing rocks at cars from overpasses.

Now, maybe I'm just naive, but my guess is that a rap sheet like that is as good as a fingerprint. If the screenee, or anyone who knows his criminal history, sees the Cohen tweets, they know Cohen is tweeting about him. And if the Cohen tweets get back to the screenee, he most likely can figure out which SW hired Cohen to do the screen.

Does Cohen's contract with SWs allow her to use the information she is paid to gather for these kind of fast and loose marketing purposes? If I hired Cohen to screen for me, all I would want her to do is gather the information and give it to me so I could make a decision. Not to make a game out of getting every SW on Twitter to make fun of the guy. Cause the guy sounds like he's violent. Publicly humiliating a violent guy can lead to more violence. This is something that the disdainful pearl-clutching SW commenters to Cohen's posts seem to miss.

(IMO Cohen's Twitter feed intentionally tries to stoke anxieties among her SW followers, probably to get them to hire her to do screening. Her customers ought to ask that she keep screening results confidential.)

Please note what I am *NOT* saying in this post.

I am NOT saying it is OK to drop rocks on cars.
I am NOT saying screening is wrong or that it should not include searches of publicly available information, including criminal history.
I am NOT saying that johns should be able to hide their criminal history or other bad conduct from SWs.

I AM saying that there are many privacy, confidentiality and security issues that come up in this industry and *everyone* needs to understand them, be careful and respectful. By not cyber-stalking SWs on their social media, and also, by not making johns into twitter pinatas with highly-identifying details thrown in for the sheer fun and blood sport of it.

I do have a personal Instagram and regularly get asked if I'm free to go to X hotel for $x. I would never give my "work" info because I don't want to mix my two identities. I think most providers are the same, if you recognize them just go on with your day

Facebook, google and instagram also have suggestions based on geolocation the best way to avoid being found is simply not to have an account.
It's pretty obvious to recognize who is a SP and who isn't, for most. Did anybody have a doubt that the cocaine girls in australia were not SPs?

It’s not always obvious. Some very pretty girls are not escorts, and some escorts are very plain. If you saw me in the streets, you would probably never assume I’m an escort for example :)

That would be true for most when they go about their activities outside of escorting, most don’t walk around in their lingerie, or dress so provocatively to draw attention to themselves.
Especially in Montreal you can get on any bus or metro during rush hour and find an least 5-6 women that you would be more than happy to be with and I doubt that they are all escorts. You would be one of them.

Only one of the 2 was.

And I dont' agree at all with your comment. Most of the regulars I had over the years you could never tell.

if you see some bloke standing in front of a flat in griffin town texting on his phone and getting angry when the door to the flat doesn’t open, feel free to walk up and say “hi TNB” I’m a pretty friendly guy.

I don't agree with your comments either.
Oh you're right, I apologize. The other one was a porn model of sorts...
If you see a 20 something y.o. flaunting a Louis Vuitton bag and a pair of Valentino shoes chances are she's doing something shady. A simple discussion usually clear things out.

Wrong again. The ex escort was also the "porn model of sorts" as you say. The youngest one Mélina Roberge never partake in any of this.

If you go to new city gaz nightclub yes much of the girl look like sp ;) But if you walk down the street during summertime you can never differentiate who is and who's not. As 50% of the girl you will cross look so sexy :)
