I agree. Sometimes some of our colleagues had a bad month and I had a great month, and sometimes it's the other way around. It depends on many factors. The types of bookings change week after week and month after month too. November has been a great month for me so far. Last year I surprisingly had lots of clients in february, then march was slower. Go figure.
You have to remember also that a lot of our clients are wealthier people who are travelling for work or leisure and they are part of a class that isn't as affected by the economy. And you are right, more people are lonely as well, and even if they don't see SP's that often, the quantity makes up for it. Some of my repeat clients I see once every 2-3 months only.
I couldn't say. I now have far more returning and regular clients than ever before, and there's consistently a strong flow of new clients as well. My business before and after Covid is dramatically different too. I have to say that for many years before Covid, I was travelling with my clients a lot and it didn't give a lot of space for other clients to develop a regular or long-term client-provider relationship. When they wanted to see me again, most often I wasn't available since almost every month I was travelling, so my meetings were more sporadic. Strangely, my business is better and more lucrative without all those travels in my schedule. If only I had known...
