I have read articles about how men obsess over some of these girls, and give them $10K, $50K gifts. Some girls charge $20/month with over 10,000 subscribers.

This is the exception, not the rule. The average monthly earning on OF is about $114 USD. This includes fully inactive accounts, of course, but a lot of people are earning modest amounts rather than raking it in.
