Another GG promotional thread? I can't wait for the GG has the Best Lubes thread...and/or the GG has the Best Gerbils thread. How about a Mike Makes the Best Matzo Balls Soup thread. Seriously what s superficial slew of butt kissing. A number of you fail or refuse to write reviews, but when it comes to pressing lips to cheeks...TAAA DAAA there you are.

Have you met or dealt with James? If not, you have absolutely no right to comment in this thread. Everyone else who has dealt with him has a 100% right to give him a thumbs up or down. I knew James when he was one of us and before his booker days. Got great advice from him then when he was a regular hobbyist civilian, and later when he was a booker, despite asking one very detailed question that called for a difficult judgment call on his part.

oh boy merlot and your certainly not the wine.....all i am saying is he is good at his job wtf dude !!!! this is not to get anything in return or to embalish GG........i am pointing out he is good at his job.......i havent even met a girl at GG cause timing nevers works out for me but this james guy is actually good at his job...you know a tape on the back for simply beiing good at what you do....i guess you dont get does ........so again i am not giving GG any points here but at James for doiing a good job ......seriously connaisseur de la beaute tu as manque de beaute sur ce point.....go habs go 24 cups in the real city of champions.....

Everyone has the right to comment within the rules on any post, or do you need to review the rules. Otherwise, since when have you ever been privy to who I speak with. Your arrogant presumption is wrong anyway. I spoke to Mike to make arrangements when I met Sophie, but I spoke to James at other times. The guy was fine with me. Some others at other agencies have been terrific, but I've never made separate a thread promote them. I write reviews that have the benefit of giving the membership another perspective on a real experience, which you refuse to do. I never just kiss cheeks.
Lastly my objection has nothing to do with GG or James or Mike. It's this kissy face superficiality that keeps popping up no matter what agency it refers to.
So this is for a great guy you could not arrange a meeting with? You've never met a girl at GG? This thread is all just about a good chat? Whew. Very thin isn't it.
As I said above. I have spoken to James with the same experience you had and he seems like a good man, a nice guy, and tries to be helpful. Should I then flood the board with what a nice guy or lady Jessy, Chris, and the two Martins, and others are. GG is a very fine organization with good people. But WTF!
If we're going to do this I'm putting in my plug for Martin of XXXTASE and Jessy of MSC. They've been informative, very patient, helpful and honest, and they aren't influenced by personal board squabbles between members.
MY MAIN OBJECTION: People are putting out Puff Pastry instead of main courses...ie...little compliments with shallow value instead of reviews that would help inform the membership and guide them to better meetings as this board was intended for. It's a very poor trade off.

I made no presumption, I asked a question if you dealt with James or not. It would have been inappropriate to comment if you have not dealt with him. How do you get a presumption out of a question?

My praise was more for James, and not directly related to his current position @ GG. He was a man apart, during his days as an active Merb hobbyist, I doubt anyone could argue otherwise.
In my (admittedly limited) interactions with James, he has always been courteous and gracious with his time, even though he doesn't know me from a hole in the wall.

omfg merlot you go way to far ..... a simple chat with james i had many and it never works out for me on timming issues..... all i am saying is thanks for your patience james and trying to help me.....i guess merlot your that type of client that always complains or needs to ALWAYS answer.....let it go dude i gave a compliment and you took it way to far,,i give you an inch youll hang yourself with it i guess......ridicule

I agree wholeheartedly with your assessment, and typically I ignore and bypass these types of posts too. But this particular one resonated with me, probably cuz I like James, I'd even probably would kiss James ass, in a non-gay way of course... If that's even possible, lol.
As a side note, I'd like to share an actual experience I had with James:
So I had booked a GG girl for a rendezvous, and a couple hours before my appointment, James texted me to let me know he was going to run late. No problem for me, but apparently that night there was a bike race happening and police had barricaded and closed down a lot of streets in and around the area. James kept me abreast of the situation, but it soon became apparent, it was a lost cause, and he had to shut it down for the night after being stuck in traffic for over 2 hrs. James apologized and offered me appointments for the next day (which I already had booked, but nonetheless). Tbh, I was more sorry for James and the girls who were stuck in traffic. Anyways, I confirmed the next days appointment, which occurred without incident, and a great time was had by all (well at least for myself...) I texted James and thanked him afterwards, and he responded in kind and apologized for the previous night again.
Sorry for the long winded story, but moral of the story for me, was that James was responsive, courteous, and sincere, even during a night when things went horribly wrong. It didn't hurt that the story had a happy ending too...
I am not sure that it is, but I am sure we would all buy a beer for James if we saw him at a Montreal bar off-duty. I know he could run a tab with me, like Halloween Mike had going at the last GT, LOL.
I don't often book with an agency but when I do I go for the one with the best Gerbils.
Don't know about his matzo ball soup but I heard it through the grapevine that his mother makes an awesome spaghetti sauce.:thumb:
BTW- James is an awesome, awesome guy, an encyclopedia of information when it comes to the hobby scene.
