The point, TGW, is NOT that the Biden family is better than any other family (whether American or otherwise!). The POINT is that Biden handled the pandemic better and more honestly and intelligently than Trump did...and the PROOF of that (along with many other facts!) is that Trump's gross stupidity and inefficiency resulted in him, his family, his associates and his braindead cultists getting the virus, while Biden, his family and his associates did not. Simple cause and effect - THAT is the "point" - it has NOTHING to do with Biden's family being "better" than anyone else (except of course Trump), so stop trying to deflect the message.
I've noticed that certain fervent believers in right wing (ahem) "theories" love to use the words "you people". I guess it makes it easier for them to make similar generalizations without having to actually analyze factual reports. Oh, now I get it. It's not that Biden's family is better, it's the gross stupidity of American families for getting infected with Covid. American families don't all have the luxury of hiding in the basement to protect themselves from a deadly virus. Some of us have to go out and work or shop for groceries to feed our families. That may sound stupid to you, but we have no choice. If only we were able to follow in the footsteps of a better family, not work, take naps in the basement, have others shop for us, etc. It was clear what you really meant in your original post. That's expected when you watch CNN and MSDNC all day.

How many reports have you read and listened to where people swear they took all the precautions in the world and still ended up getting covid.

Trump was being tested several times and everybody around him daily and he still got it, so what, luckily like many he lived through it.
Now if you were to bring up that these asshole politicians and yes I include all of them get the best care in the world and have much more of a chance living through covid than ordinary citizens that work in a processing plant then you might have something worth talking about.
With that comment I am assuming you have never been in charge of jobs. Coming into a new unknown job with zero info from previous methods it is difficult to start planning, and when stepping into a job after watching it for a year it is far easier to implement methods, especially when the main solution has been handed to you ( vaccine ). The UK is worse off than the US, if Canada had the same population density as the US we would be worse off. If Biden was there at the beginning the US would be in the same shape and probably a little worse, the old coot does not even know where he is half the time.

New-york state and surrounding states have been struck by Covid from travelers from Europe before Trump putt in place restrictions, and those only for foreign travelers, not Americans returning to USA.
