At this point in his administration Biden is well below the rating of every other president (even Carter!) since WWII and he is about equal to where Trump was at the same point. Not commenting on whether Ketanji is a good choice or not - but interesting Romney voted AGAINST her last year when she was nominated to the court of appeal. Ugly partisan stuff indeed, now she is good enough for him?

This whole process has been a circus, same for the previous two nominations (kavanaugh and coney barrett). I don't think this will ever go back to a normal process but with 4 judges now in their 50's the court might be set for decades.

The crazy thing about trump is that his approval was low but that group was very motivated and had high approval.

Biden does not even have that tight core group of fans and if the polls are right the 2nd half of his presidency will be locked with a republican house and senate (but still a lot of time for things to turn)

I voted for Trump in 2020 (but not in 2016 when I didn't vote for either candidate). I don't want Trump to run in 2024. But I do believe the country would be much better off with Trump as president now than with the senile Biden. As annoying as Trump was as a person, his policies were all better than Biden's.
