Internet is very usefull when it is used with intelligence.
Social medias are in my view perhaps one of the worst thing that was developped, particularly for kids and teenagers.

I agree-social media have played a key role in promoting trans ideology among female teenagers. I'm not sure what we can do about that, but it sure doesn't help when the Biden administration joins in and actively encourages confused, socially awkward young women to consider undergoing radical medical procedures in order to conform to their perceived "true sex." That's what Biden appointee Rachel Levine did.

We are going to look back years from now and wonder how, as a society, we failed young girls so badly.

Between social media and fashionable gender theories, we are making teenage girls depressed, anxious and trans.

In a Substack essay the other day, a mother wrote of her daughter, “She was among the last of her small group of biologically female friends to socially transition. It was mid-pandemic, and she spent most of her time with her best friend, who had, unbeknownst to me, shown her hours upon end of transgender entertainment on YouTube and TikTok.”

Of course, that is going to have an effect, although there is a massive effort to deny it among trans activists and in much of the media.

The Geico gecko can persuade us to buy car insurance.

Donald Trump can post a meme on Truth Social and it can prompt someone to go take a baseball bat to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Someone can use the wrong pronoun and it can move a trans person to harm himself or herself.

But what can’t possibly happen, we are supposed to believe, is that the constant discussion and celebration of transgenderism might persuade confused young people to decide they are nonbinary or trans.

Even some trans advocates are willing to admit this makes no sense.

Marci Bowers, president of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, told the progressive New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg: “There are people in my community who will deny that there’s any sort of ‘social contagion’ — I shouldn’t say social contagion, but at least peer influence on some of these decisions. I think that’s just not recognizing human behavior.”

Bowers is the exception, though. It is taken as an article of faith among trans activists and much of the left that social contagion is a pernicious myth.

This denial is based on the idea that people, especially young people, aren’t suggestible.

We know this isn’t true.

What we are told, what our friends do and say, what signals we get from society matter enormously.

And awareness and encouragement of transgenderism, nonbinary status and heretofore unknown genders have increased dramatically.

Internet searches for anorexia in recent years have declined while searches for transgender have soared.

There are transgender and nonbinary celebrities.

Schools have started teaching kids gender ideology, and some will “transition” children without telling parents...

mod: this thread is about the Biden administration, not transgender issues - get back on topic.

In life, it's nice to every once in a while count our blessings. In that vein, let's all take a moment to give thanks for the fact that Biden's Democrats absolutely DEMOLISHED Trump's inept GOP in the last election, obliterating the grifting liar and beating him by EIGHT MILLION votes. That was obviously one of the greatest moments in American history.

Biden did win by over 8 million votes, but due to the Electoral College, Biden still could have lost the election. The real margin of victory was only about 44,000 votes: https://www.npr.org/2020/12/02/9406...se-key-states-powered-biden-to-the-presidency.

That's why the Republicans introduced over 262 bills in 41 states to hijack the election process:

If I remember well, for the last 30 years, the Republican Presidency candidates never won the popular vote !
In Canada last federal election, Poilievre got more votes than Trudeau too.

Next on are the "professors" to save America.

Professors urge Biden to defy 'mistaken' rulings by 'MAGA ...Fox Newshttps://www.foxnews.com

Tyranny of the minority: The Hillhttps://thehill.com ›

"MSNBC commentator Elie Mystal called the U.S. Constitution “trash” and argued that we should simply just dump it."

"Georgetown University Law School Professor Rosa Brooks was celebrated for her appearance on MSNBC’s “The ReidOut” after declaring that Americans are “slaves” to the U.S. Constitution and that the Constitution itself is now the problem for the country."

Am I even reading this?
I wish it is fake news.
Twilight zone.

Move aside Constitution and say hell to ESG society governance
Remember these three letters for the rest of your life....E S G.
Now we slaves to ESG?

Biden uses first veto to defend rule on ESG investingReutershttps://www.reuters.com › business › sustainable-business

The link below is to a report about the excellent economic performance of Team Biden. It also shows how Republican presidential administrations have consistently produced horrendous economic results over the past several decades and how Democratic administrations have consistently turned it around each and every time, basically saving the USA from financial ruin. Cohen is obviously a Democratic supporter but it is the statistics in his report that prove his arguments are true and valid regardless of anyone's political affiliation. In simple terms: Democrats are good for the American economy but Republicans are very, very harmful to it.

HILARIOUS: Fox host forced to report on MASSIVE Biden win - YouTube

Unfortunately, most Americans can't comprehend those studies.

Crazy Uncle Joe has been touting his new one-word economic program: "Bidenomics!" The public is not buying it.

Partially true, partially not. The ignorant and uninformed GOP supporters, Trump cultists and QAnon lovers are not "buying" it. Intelligent, informed, non-brainwashed Americans of all political bases ARE "buying" it.

That's exactly correct. Economic indicators are favorable in the US. Inflation has gone down considerably (in fact is the lowest of the G7 countries), incomes are rising, unemployment is at record lows, GDP is growing, the Fed opines that recession in unlikely, and the stock market is robust. Consumer sentiment is a lagging indicator because it takes people many months to notice and feel the effect of positive changes in economic activity.

Biden has lied often when he has compared the death of his one good son, Beau, to the deaths of other soldiers who died in combat in Afghanistan and Iraq. Biden's story about Beau's death is a despicable lie and an insult to the parents of soldiers who died in combat.

Families of the 13 US service members who were killed in an ISIS suicide bombing during the Biden administration’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan lined up Monday to slam the White House — with one Gold Star mom accusing the president of callously likening her son’s death to that of his late son Beau.

Cheryl Rex, whose son Marine Lance Cpl. Dylan Merola died in the Aug. 26, 2021, bombing at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, said she became enraged at Biden’s mawkish sentiment, knowing full well that Beau Biden died of brain cancer on US soil.

“His words to me were, ‘My wife, Jill, and I know how you feel. We lost our son as well and brought him home in a flag-draped coffin,'” Rex recounted during a forum convened in Escondido, Calif. by local Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.). “My heart started beating faster and I started shaking, knowing that their son died from cancer and they were able to be by his side.”

Biden has a history of claiming his son “died in Iraq.”

In fact, Beau passed away in May 2015 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., at the age of 46 – six years after he came home from a yearlong deployment to Iraq in September 2009.

The president has said he believes Beau developed the brain cancer that killed him from exposure to toxic burn pits during his deployment...

Joe Biden tragically lost his son, who served his country with honor, and you have the temerity to call him a despicable liar. Have you no sense of decency?
