Just in: Escort agency busted!

So, is this a warming shot to Hobbyists and Agencies? Is this the beginning of the end to Montreal as Hobbyland? Are the civic leaders of Montreal really serious about killing the escort industry?

Be nice if the agency was named. Judging by the arrests, it likely was a fairly good-size incall. I used to do incalls years ago at the old Private Lies agency, but I will never do one again. Why? Well, an incall joint was busted near where I live, and believe it or not the cops discovered that in addition to running a bawdyhouse, the operators were BROADCASTING and recording the sessions through hidden cameras. This is not a rumor; this was in the paper, and I know some of the cops involved, and it is a fact that it was happening. (For the record, I live in the US, so it was not a Montreal agency...but it was enough to discourage me from going to incalls. I don't need to be arrested, and I don't care to be a Web porn star)

Bumfie -- I have the same concerns. I will enjoy the company of SP's only in hotel rooms. Since the bust was an incall service, I guest I don't have to be paralized by fear -- outcall services remain viable for Hobbyists and SP's.

I understand why they exist...mainly for locals who don't want to shell out for unneeded hotel rooms...but none for me, thanks. I know there are those short-stay places that pooners use, but frankly I don't trust them either since they know what people who rent a room for three hours are doing.

I don't think this is the end at all, Kansas F....over the years it seems incalls have been busted all the time, but the only big outcall bust I remember was Heartbreakers...and that was a long time ago and if I recall no clients were charged.

Quite true. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the hotel owners/managers weren't behind the complaints.

Hi Doc, personnally, I would be surprised if it was the hotel owners. If the incalls rents 4 rooms per day, 6 days a week, that's a total of close to 100 rentals per month.

LE are obligated to intervein if they receive a complaint. I would suspect more the local competition, could be outcall agencies or massage parlors. It could also be a girl that got fired from the agency, a customer who holds a grudge against a girl or the agency for bad services, etc.

There must be an election coming up! :D

By the way, i have heard of a few people who've been busted by the cops for being clients of an agency or even an indy sp following a bust & their names would up on their 'clients' list. I was shocked this kind of stuff happens in Mtl.

And finally, several well-known Mtl agencies have been busted in the past, including some of my favorites, LFMJ & Maxximum. Someone refresh my memory, didn't the top HDH agency at one time named 'Allissa Mtl' ever get busted once for tax reasons?

That's not the only case, but in that one as well as one other I can remember, there were reportedly minors involved. In the case of the other one, whose name escapes me, the owner was not pimping his wife and daughter. After Heartbreakers was put out of business, it's owner turned the website into an advertising site for escorts, primarily bait and switch agencies; it remains in operation to this day.

Meh, the police is in a hurry to do a few busts in the most evident of incall places before the Appeal's Court in Ontario confirms the Bawdy House section of the Code to be unconstitutional. So, yea... it's now or never for them haha.
But if you do outcalls you're safe.

Then again, most prosecutors don't give a shit about what the police brings forward to them if its not considered a violent crime, they'll just give these people a slap on the wrist and let them go... after all it's just a sommation.

There are prudish hotel staff, even in Montreal. At the place I normally stay, I have learned to schedule arrivals before 11:00 p.m. because the midnight shift desk guy gives my visitors a hard time. Interestingly, the girls who work the desk on the preceding shift pay my visitors no mind.

Don't rule out other hotel guests as the culprits. They can complain to the police directly or even indirectly through hotel management.

Can't the pooners just hold it down a little? I've only had two escorts who had me literally screaming

.

You may be right. The cops have to meet their stats for the year, but they will not exceed the stats for last year because they will have to work harder next year for fill a quota. They can do the same but not less than the year previous. They may be after some low hanging fruit before it is too late, so a few bust now means they will just cruise around and do Christmas shopping in December.
