Interesting article. I liked this quote:

Having a partner who works in the sex trade and shares money with you should not be a crime. If the victim is being kidnapped, extorted or assaulted, they should be charged with those crimes.

I'm not an expert, but I believe that under the current laws agency workers could be charged as pimps, which I would disagree with in the case of most reputable agencies.

I didn't like his position on runaways, suggesting that it was okay for a group home runaway to join the sex trade. I don't believe that there is a place in the world of prostitution for underage girls.

I totally agree with what Kristian says.

IMHO, he describes the situation for what it really is. He's pointing out things a lot of people don't/or don't want to see. Mainly that, vulnerable or not, misguided or not, these girls fall in love with their "pimps" and they do as they please.

Also, vulnerable or not, misguided or not, they choose prostitution to make money just like any other escorts, courtisanes, SP, MP, etc. They are not chained to a bed with their legs spread so that clients waiting in line can go and fuck her.

The age thing is BS. We, men and women, can be vulnerable and/or misguided at any age and do things we shouldn't. Just look at the girls at the Ghomeshi trial.

We can do prevention. Family, friends, police and social services can be there for them. But we can't control people and we can't help someone that doesn't want help. As long as kidnapping, extorsion or violence is not involved.

Im totaly agreed wath you say!! i will never working again for an agency... I work for myself for 2 years now and i always work with one GF i organized all for her and me booking gedtion publicity of 3 web site and all for a good buisness and we pay half hlaf the house and all the monthly account and made an agreement about 30% on her call alone or 20% on duo call but i do 2 hrs gestion every day just for her and every day i teach her to be a smart independante business women.
I think we never do nothing fo nothing but i want her to be never manipulated by a men again !!!
I even made ​​her read books on emotional intelligence and as author like Bryan Tracy, Terry Goodkin & Dale Carnegie
I will be glad to help her like some few people does this called a real friend <3
