Although I am new here but I used to be a serious poster in Canbest. Here in Merb for every review there are at least ten discouraging comments followed by another ten stupid questions. Good old times, where members used to have good relationship like brothers with a common habit. We had fraction of massage parlors with compare to what we have now but four times more reviews and occasionally some informative comments. Now all I see is one liner posts and all about questions and BS comments -----> do you know that we have a function called "PM = Private Message" . Instead of filling up the thread with your nonsense comments that no one cares, how about actually posting some informative reviews and leave your questions to PM ? I was checking the stats between the MERB, TERB and VERB ... and guess what MERB is the dead last ... We are maybe behind Toronto but sure our Massage Scene is more active than Vancouver area. Montreal has more than 100 salons and in average each salon makes about 3 clients per day , this translates to 300 massage / day so where are the reviews ? It only means we have hundreds if not thousands lurking the site without sharing what they know. Sites like Merb won't work if you keep the information for yourself. Boards like this rely on informative posts and reviews. Do you think I am horse shitting Ok just look at the number of members here and let say each member takes one massage per year . then calculate the number of reviews we should have a day .. enough said
So please share and stop these one liner BS comments and questions , we have PM for that. Sorry if I offended some of you but this post is not intended to attack anyone or offense anyone.
It is simply to remind everyone why we are here and what we should do for the health of this board.
And finally , I see the tip is a major issue here. Well how much tip you want to leave and the negotiations for the tip is something personal and no one's biz wiz how much Mr. A wanted to give Miss. B ... but if you are curious PM and ask. Posting any hint of tip for options on the public board is the confirmation of solicitation for the services and it is a death sentence for the girl who just gave you the GFE ... So watch for what you post on public
I am guilty as charged myself in couple of my posts as well but let's try to change this habit and make Merb the best board for all of us who enjoy the hobby.
