I don't really understand why the same subjects keep coming up, there are thousands of threads about this. But let's get through this together.
1- Leolist, Escorte Intime and Tryst are valid platforms for escorts to advertise, but yes, there are fake ads and scammers. However, many of us use them because not everyone wants to advertise on review boards like Merb, and those of us who don't want to can still be legit providers. Those platforms are tools, but they are not perfect and they are often not well moderated. However, for instance on Tryst your identity is verified, they ask for ID, so it's far less likely for someone to be a scammer on it, even tho there are a lot of profiles that are just meant to advertise OF. You can also validate that you're real on Leolist by submitting images of yourself holding a sign with the current date and your escort name, although some people try to bypass it.
2- It's relatively easy to figure out if someone is real. Most real escorts have an online presence and a website. We often have more than one ad. That is why X suspending our accounts pisses us so much, we can show clients our personality and that we are indeed a real person through this. Most scammers would never go as far as doing that. Also if someone has been around for a while, it's a sign that person is no scammer. Idk why a scammer would make a X, Throne, Bluesky and Instagram profile and maintain their activity. It's way too much work. Being a scammer isn't a job lol. Those scammers keep using fake pictures and changing their names because they are found out pretty fast.
3- This is why Merb exists literally. If someone is a scammer, it will be known pretty fast. Just don't see someone who doesn't have reviews and/or doesn't have an online presence and/or is new and has only been around for a few days or months.
4- As a member of Indy Companion, I can attest to the fact that we are all vetted by trusted members. Maybe the escorts in our collective aren't all in your price range and we all offer different services, but we are all real.
That was easy, wasn't it?
