Anyone know where I can just park my car for 7-10 days?

I usually come to Montreal and just leave my car at the lot and take metro.

I usually park at a place that charged me $10/day. so for $70-$100 I just leave my car there. But they closed down.

I just got here and I parked at the hotel and they are charging me $30/day. Too expensive..

Go east near Honore-Beaugrand metro. At 10 minutes walk south, you can park your car in streets up to a week. Use Google street map to locate a street. You can see no parking signs contents by zooming and plan your arrival. As a bonus, Honore-Beaugrand is the very first station so you will be able to have a seat no problem. Could be a plus if you arrive during rush hour.

I usually find an Indigo run underground parking and pick a secluded corner and just leave the car. Haven’t been towed yet, most I’ve done is a week straight though.

Here’s a suggestion, Hotel Ruby Foo’s has free parking and they are a quick subway ride away from downtown.

There is no magic answer to the question of cheap daily parking in downtown Montreal. It doesn't exist. But some places are cheaper than others. It all depends how how safe you want your car to be and how much inconvenience you are willing to support.

You can use this site to help you find some possibilities: https://www.bestparking.com/

Anyone ever leave their car overnight or longer at the casino?

With the current dealer strike ongoing they are short staffed but they are still always open.

for long-term parking in montreal, i always park beneath the grande bibliotheque on barre just north of maisonneuve. It is secure and very reasonable.

I was really hoping no one would mention my secret spot! But since you did, a few things worth noting:
The maximum time you can pay for at once is 24 hours and the kiosk where you pay gives you a ticket that you place on your dashboard. So if you are parking there for an extended stay, you will have to come back each day to pay for another day before the 24 hours is up. Also, on the week days after 4pm the maximum time you can pay for is 12 hours, so you have to pay attention to when you arrive. The signs on the kiosks are only in French, so if you are mono-lingual it is helpful to look at the parking info on their website ahead of time.

I almost always stay at the Hotel St Denis (which is very escort friendly) and use the Metro from the Berri station, which makes this an ideal parking location for me.

This could be an option $170 for 1 month. But there are some conditions. Read carefully. By exemple it is let say July and not 30 days. So your week should be within the same month.
Pro: direct access to downtown, central, direct access to Metro Place-des-Arts. Your car is inside and safe.
Con: You should subscribe and cancel to avoid automatic renewal. read conditions

Monthly permit with 10 unlimited in/out privileges

$170/month, taxes included. Gives unlimited in/out privileges to a space in the Complexe Desjardins underground parking lot for 10 days (consecutive or not) in a calendar month. In the event the parking lot is full, permit holders may use the valet parking service to park their car free of charge.

Access resets on each new calendar day; this means an entry at 10 p.m. on Monday and an exit at 6 a.m. on Tuesday will count as 2 used privileges.

Monthly permits are automatically renewed each month. To cancel a permit, the permit holder must notify us before the 20th day of the month preceding the month they wish to cancel their renewal. Otherwise, the permit holder will be billed and will have to pay for the full month regardless.

To purchase a monthly permit, simply fill out this form and return it to the following email address: [email protected].

I left my car there for about a week pre-pandemic while i went on a bike trip. at that time, you could get a long-term parking ticket from the office, which is near the parking entrance. has this changed?? we are of similar mind since i often stay at hotel st denis a very basic but good boutique hotel in a great location (for me). i also like hotel st denis since you can usually get a special deal where underground parking is included with your room. the parking is very close to the hotel and allows unlimited come and go.

I wasn't aware of the option for a long term ticket. I've always just parked there for one or two days at a time and pay by the 24 hour period. But looking at their website, they do show hourly rates and monthly rates.

I started parking here many years ago when the underground parking for Hotel St Denis was unavailable due to construction work. I haven't heard of any deals that include parking with the room price and when the hotel staff mention their parking it is more expensive than what I pay at the Grand Bibliotheque.
