House of Jazz sure isn't the same without Mr Biddles.... but its an ok location. The stage is roomy and you're not forced to have your head stuck in some guys brass.
Food however, I was never a fan of... overall about the opposite of what I think of the Upstairs jazz club (on Mackay) that place is tiny, loud performers can give you a headache but the table is decent.

Let us know how it goes... I'm wondering if the food has improved

Been there many time. If you like Jazz it's a very cool and classy place. I remember an evening with a particularly good blues trio, asking the crowd what they wanted to hear (a-la- gregory- charles). Was memorable.

Did not end up going, my niece wanted to go and her friend canceled, I said if she really had no one else I would go with her but she went with her sister instead.
The decor part interests me and I may visit next week now.
Thanks for the tips, I will try the food also.
