Including Stephen Bronfman, Bell, the owner of Dollarama, and a guy who has made over $1B from on-line gambling.
However, I was listening to Primetime Sports two weeks ago & the question of where to build the stadium was brought up. The area where Labatt's Stadium was supposed to be built (behind the Bell Centre) has now been developped with condos. There have been two areas cited, one of which make great sense, one of which doesn't. The Wellington basin, near Mel's Cinema, is one, but there really isn't much public transportation down there. The other is the current site of the Children's Hospital, which will be closing when the new hospital opens next year. The Children's Hospital is within easy walking distance of two Metro line, the Orange (Georges-Vanier) and Green (Atwater). The 720 is right there and the 15 and 20 are not far away.
