Ari Melber reports on the breaking news that the House has voted to eject Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from the House Budget and Education and Labor committees, a proposal that the Democratic majority chose to pursue after House Republican leadership opted not to take action against Greene.
A total of 11 Republicans joined Democrats to remove Greene.
Before the historic vote, Greene spoke on the House floor in an attempt to stave off her de-credentialing, but did not apologize for her comments.
Only 11 republicans stand for decency and respect.
Bravo to the 11 Republicans who did the right thing in agreeing to oust this dangerous far-right conspiracy theorist from the committees. And that's why House Republicans overwhelmingly voted for Liz Cheney, a rabid anti-Trumper, to keep her leadership post. Makes sense.
Hmm, I think though 60 republicans voted to remove Cheney (a rabid republican/conservative)from her house leadership position because she voted for impeachment.
