MERB.cc...merb.ca??what happen...where all the thread ..??

I have a problem when I fist access merb.cc

I go to the merb.cc home page, then click on Forum which brings up a drop down menu and then I select Forum Home on the drop down.

Instead of taking me to the Forum page this always brings me to a "Activity Stream" page which essentially has nothing on it.

It's only after I'm on the 'Activity Stream' page that clicking on "Forum" will take me to the Forum page.

Used to be that selecting "Forum Home" from the dropdown would bring me to the Forum page directly.

BTW - Speed right now is fine, haven't seen the delays today that I saw a few days ago.

Browser btw is Chrome with a Mac

Yes, same thing for me here. Not sure what's the difference, but this hasn't been a problem with the move of TERB. Shouldn't be too difficult to fix I would think.

Thanks Reverdy for approving the situation...i guess it is probably more hard that we think..cause still doesnt work....

Btw for the pm...why we are stock with the 40 message MAXIMUM...damn i hate that...and also the thing i do reallyy hate is the 3 minute wait in each pm cause you have a maximum of 1500 words...so if you do put the quote of the person...and your text...sometimes or almost always you pass over the limit.....grrr

So my 3 point is...-
-the 40 message max in your pm box
-the 3 minute between sending message in pm box
-and the 1500 word maximum in pm=cause a lot of times you do respond with the quote...

Anyway that could be consider too improve.....but if some of you tell them...probably it is gonna work garanty more then me....anyway..just my poiint !!!

Now I am just trying to help out here.............. If the 1500 character is not enough do not quote the other person, he/she knows what they wrote. I found that reply with a quote is used far too much here, I have seen it being used on the second posting of a new thread WTF, even using it for the post above is a waste of space unless you only pull out a certain portion you are referring to not the whole quote. The 3 minutes between can be a pain I agree and I usually delete every pm daily or weekly. All the things we type here are on storage somewhere and it all takes up space and there has to be a maximum at some point, should it be raised???

This looks like MERB`s legitimate website. I tried for days trying to get on MERB using URL https://merb.cc and kept getting a warning that it no longer exist and was afraid to proceed to the Merb.cc site until I Googled Merb on Chrome and it came up as a safe site (based on my Norton security). :thumb: I`m so relieved and happy that MERB was not hijacked by hackers from Russia. Now, I`m feeling happier that Merb still exist -- I was planning a trip to Montreal :lol::nod:
