Pay upfront. Tip whenever works for you, it wasn't expected anyways.

If someone tells me they are only paying at the end, I am packing up and leaving. No cash first, no service, the end. Even people I have seen many times pay up front. I won't put my phone away until paid when I walk in the door. Extras discussed during booking, and paid up front, or are not available once booking starts.

I am forgetful, and follow a set order of operations when it comes to certain things in life.
Walk in, greet, kiss, hug, and as I set my purse down, either they pay right away, or I have to ask, but it is payment in full, then I text my safty, start timer, then phone away. Business is done. Then it is time to enjoy ourselves until the chime goes off.

I am not a restaurant, and am not willing to put myself in the, dine and dash, situation.

Well I think most Indies advertising here mention payment upfront ... If ones read their information/website. And we all (I hope) follow their booking etiquette. I can also understand why such protocol after hearing stories about that.

Not sure about the debate. The only debate could be about the tips as normally this is for good service and you won't know before the beginning of the session
If tips is given after it can feel transactional but you can't give it before so ... Catch22 lol

PS: I might be too nice or naive but I give everything donation + tips before

On a side note my housekeeper just reminded me I forgot several payments here and there. I usually send e-transfer during the week but I might forget if too busy. So anyone can forget or make genuine mistake.

I usually pay upfront, cause that's what I'm used to. But, I don't like it.
I prefer to pay at the end because, if the provider gave me a good service, I usually want to give an extra tip.
If I already paid, I usually don't like to go back in my pockets.

Not only it is theft but it's an assault. If a client leaves without paying it's a breach of consent, because I consented to offer services in the condition that I am paid. And no that doesn't mean I find my clients unattractive.

Room fees get paid at the beginning, then tips at the end...

But it is true, there are other mps, like 2214 or La Montrealaise, they require the money up front. So yes, it depends of the mp

Your going to a place as its different than someone coming to you! SO MONEY IS ASKED UP FRONT

I started seeing sps only recently so I don't know what the expectation used to be but one constant of every indy website/ad/escorting recommendations has been money up front, so immediately that was the expectation. I don't know a world or scenario that would be improved by waiting until the end but then again I'm not used to getting screwed by providers or going to sketchy places so idk. I like doing it upfront actually, esp. when we meet in public bc it gives me an excuse to find a creative way to hide it.
Some ways I've handed a provider an envelope/money in public:
- Book (classic)
- Bookshelf safe disguised as a book (most spycraft item I've purchased)
- A fully sealed/addressed envelope with stamp ("oh, btw, can you mail this for me when you go to the post office")
- Inside the liner of a mostly sealed vinyl record
- Inside gift bag /w gift
- Inside a Nintendo Switch game case (/w game)
