Montreal Angels Apology and Request to Return to MERB

Je suis client de Jeff et MA depuis assez longtemps, normalement je vois toujours les memes filles. Surtout la petite Kim. Pour moi Jeff a toujours été correct et meme Kim m'as toujours parlé en bien de l'agence, ca fait longtemps qu'elle travail pour Jeff. Mais il y a 3 semaines je suis tombé sur une de ces petite nouvelles. Et j'ai fait la gaffe de lui demander son numero de telephone. Comme toute fini par ce savoir, bien Jeff as écrit sont fameux message... j'ai déja ecrit a Jeff ici,alors il savait mon nick sur MERB. Il m'as ecrit un message privé ici et toute c'est arrangé. Il était faché, mais apres que la poussiere soit retombé on recommence a zero. Il me redonne ma chance avec ces filles et je me dit qu'il devrait avoir la meme chance sur MERB. Comme plusieur personne on ecrit, on a tous droit de faire des gaffes, moi comme lui.

For me Jeff was always correct and even Kim who is working for the agency for long time and never complain about Jeff... even if Kim have her own character and tough schedule. But 3 weeks ago I booked one of Jeff new girl and I make the mistake to ask her phone number. Since everything always get know, Jeff wrote his famous warning. Jeff knew my Merb nick and also sent me a private message about the incident and now everything is fine with him. He gave me another chance to see his girls and I think he should have the same chance with MERB..

C'est le monde à l'envers! J'ai toujours pensé que ce sont les clients qui donnent leur chance aux agences, pas l'inverse. C'est quand même incroyable comment des clients se font charrier dans ce business. On réussit à leur faire croire qu'on leur donne un privilège en leur vendant des services.

Demander le numéro de tél à une fille et menacer les clients avec violence (...will be Severly punished..., ...can change your life trust me...) y a une bonne différence du niveau de "gaffe".
Il a clairement démontré que c'est une personne qui agit sur impulsion de façon violente.
Moi ça arrive régulièrement que les filles me donnent leur numéro.
Je connais des filles qui ne veulent pas "Appartenir" à une agence ou à quiconque. Elles veulent garder leur liberté et avoir le choix d'aller où ça paye le mieux.
Y a des filles fidèles, d'autres non. Tant qu'à moi, le principal, c'est que si elles sont bien traitées, elles vont aller voir ailleur des fois mais vont sans doute revenir des fois. C'est mieux que rien.

Les clients qui demandent leur numéro aux filles, y en a et y en aura tjrs. Ça fait parti de la game. La majorité des agences savent dealer avec ça dans le calme. Alors pourquoi faire des menaces publics. Vraiment TRÈS amateur pour kk1 qui se dit le plus gros, le meilleur etc...
Y a un gros problème d'attitude dans cet agence.

De toute façon, la fille est capable de dealer avec ça elle même.
Même si elle rapporte ça à son boss, c'est pas grave...
Est-ce que l'agence a peur que ses filles se laissent tenter? si c'est le cas, so be it...
Pourquoi généraliser et dérailler sur merb de la sorte pour un détail aussi insignifiant?
En bout de ligne, le gars qui demande le numéro à la fille, c'est un CLIENT ($$).
En quoi demander un numéro à la fille met en danger l'agence?
Et pourquoi une telle demande devrait mettre la vie du client (et de la fille?) en péril!
C'est totalement exagéré et dénote un manque de maturité et le fait que ces menaces viennent d'un adulte me fait douter de la sincérité de l'excuse et surtout du fait que les choses vont vraiment changer du tout au tout.

Je comprend qu'on reste dans un 'pays libre' et que les filles peuvent faire ce qu'elles veulent. Mais ca reste quand meme une transaction de confiance, et j'avous que c'est pas 100% correct de vouloir by-passer l'intermediaire. Si les filles n'aiment pas ça ou que l'agence n'aime pas ce genre de sollicitation par manque de confiance en leurs filles, je n'ai rien contre le fait que l'agence fasse le point publiquement de façon poli et non en Chef wanabe de gang de rue.

Moi perso, je retournerais pas la voir cette fille.
C'est un peu elle l'instigatrice de ce scandal.

Je suis tout à fait d'accord avec les propos de UB. Certains propriétaires d'agences/Mac semblent considérer les filles qui travaillent avec/pour eux comme si elles étaient leur propriété ou encore pire esclaves. Dans d'autres pays, tout ce beau monde serait déjà en prison pour exploitation d'autrui.

J'ai déjà eu affaire à Montreal Angels et l'incident remonte à quelques mois. J'étais entrain de faire mon magasinage en contactant quelques agences par texto. Une des filles de MA a attiré mon attention. Mais, finalement, une autre agence a fini par emporter l'enchère. Afin d'éviter tout problème, j'ai texté le gars de MA et les autres pour signifier que j'ai déjà fait mon choix. Le réceptionniste de MA a très mal pris la nouvelle, il m'a appelé pour m'expliqué que la fille était déjà en route et de me traîter de SOB. La fille était déjà en route, alors que tout ce que j'avais fait était de demander un renseignement?

Je ne sais pas si le gars à qui j'ai parlé est le même qui a proliféré les menaces ici. J'ai parlé à un gars qui ne semblait pas être menacant (photétiquement parlant), mais qui semblait avoir, par contre, un problème d'attitude à régler.

Je m'abstiendrai à évoquer toute opinion quand aux décisions de merb dans cette affaire par peur de représailles. Je me contenterai de poster ca ailleurs.

I would try this response in French but I know my translation would be inadequate in this case.

It's good to hear from clients who have had experience with this agency. Whether this threat was out of emotional frustration for clients trying to interfere with his ladies, and very unusual for Jeff, or it was a typical outburst showing a really threatening person is the difference that matters to me. If this was out of character for him I would say make it a significant suspension. But if it shows who Jeff really is he should be gone because it shows an attitude of real intent to harm clients and possibly the ladies.

What bothers me most and makes me lean toward the harsher outcome is that Jeff went through several edits, as we're told, and still decided to be threatening. That is troublesome. As one who often edits posts or deletes harsher parts very soon, I have found myself calming down a lot and removing the more severe language. If it's true Jeff decided to keep the threat after long consideration, that's a big problem.

I think Jeff already said that the edits were due to the fact that his English is not the best and he was trying to frame his words properly (and he obviously failed at that). So the question is does he deserve a suspension or a better English tutor.

In almost total agreement with you Merlot there should be some kinds of Sentence for such threats. but a life ban is like an execution ... there was no physical harm done to anyone here and and if you dont like someones attitude or the way they talk you are not obligated to speak with him or read his posts its not like anyone is putting a gun to your head loll besides it wasn't directed to one person directly so what now he commited a terrorist threat to the Merb Community ???? should we re-evaluate and escalate this more than it already has ??? get serious . I find it curious that you have been a member of MERB for over 1 year but this situation is the first time you have contributed anything to the community. It might explain why you seem to have no idea of the rules of this board. One thing we ask is that people are respectful in their posting. Threatening to 'change someone's life' is hardly respectful posting. We do not allow threats to be posted here, whether they are directed at one individual in particular or as in this case, the entire community, by any member - advertiser or not. The same rules apply to all.

The fact that Montreal Angels are banned from posting or advertising here does not prevent any member from using their services or from posting reviews regarding their services.

As for MERB becoming 'G rated' as you put it, any other reputable message board would have done the exact same thing as we did if someone began posting threats. The difference is that on most other boards, there would have been no discussion about it. If you do not like it here and do not like the way MERB is moderated, you are free to go elsewhere. As you would say, there is no gun at your head forcing you to remain here.

Many members here had a life ban for a lot less... Did you read your... euh MA's threatening post carefully? even after many edits, it's still very violent and impregnated with the hardest feeling.

Attitude is everything in this business. A booker must be able to deal with frustating clients that cancel at the last minutes etc with the smile. NEVER show the frustration even if it is understandable. This client that canceled once may come back.

And they must be scared as hell today that M.A. may have a database or keep track of phone numbers, names, Home addresses etc that M.A. could use in a very mean way. Discretion is everything in this business.

I have never dealt with this agency but the owner showed his true colors by what he posted.

The words he used in his threat are simple enough to understand whether english is his first language or not.

An apology motivated by bad publicity and a ban doesn't hold much ground.
