There has always been a high level of spoliation with the local Montreal hobbyists. However, the spoliation usually only rears its ugly head when they travel elsewhere and expect things to be the same as in Montreal. I have read some reviews posted by local Montreal hobbyists regarding seeing escorts in the USA and they are comedy show reviews because you really have to know a local client in the city you are traveling to in the USA to avoid ripoffs, scams and other wastes of time and money. In NYC, it's really imperative to have those connections because of the underground club model that has swept NYC in recent years. Most of the good stuff in NYC is off the grid.

Generally these days I don't take partake in this hobby when I am away just for the reason that we have it so good in
Montreal and for a Montrealer, anywhere else would be like getting ripped off (And for much less service).
I have tried few places like Amsterdam, Check Republic and Vancouver in the past, discovered the Vancouver scene before I
was a Montreal hobbyist, there were some good quality babes and we didn't even know the acronyms of the business and I think

Not sure what girl you saw listed or reviewed for $400 but it could have been Charlie who is in hot demand. I never saw her but saw about 7 others at the $300-$320 rate. Half hours (real half hours) are $200. All appointments I've had were in call, and they'll offer specials for $260/ hour occasionally. All BBBJ. I'm happy to recommend other NYC agencies if anyone is interest. Gentlemen's Choice-NY is NYC's brothel, and Lear Talent, Belle De Jour and Gina's GFEs are pretty good. DreamTeamPlayDate has hot girls but everything coveredI live in Jersey so it's a better option for me.
The Asian incalls in NYC are very, very YMMV and although reasonably priced your chances of getting a girl who actually speaks conversational English are minimal. I am told that for value full service in the $300-$500 range, the underground clubs are the best bet. For $600 you can get FS from some MPs in NYC. Of course the girls are YMMV and it's not a good idea to post publicly about services from particular massage ladies or MPs.
The thing about the US is that there is a price point that I am not all that comfortable with. This is especially true when I have traveled globally and experienced so much more value. If you get to a price point that I prefer, I think you bring in an unacceptable amount of risk into the equation....like the Asian in-calls. I was half trying to get in the game on the west coast but that is a tough market to penetrate (no pun intended).
I just cancelled on a date in the US on the East Coast at a 350$ price point. What bothered me is that the screening was too little. That may sound funny but I sent an e-mail without hardly any info on it and I got an email back saying I was approved. It is a long story but I thought to myself that maybe another trip north is in order and I cancelled. I prefer learning about girls and agencies by word of mouth (i.e. back channels) when in the US.
Montreal has been a great destination for me.

FWIW, I've been hobbying on visits to Montreal since 2001. I hobby all over the world, and I honestly think the scene in Montreal is the best, and as good as ever. I only use agency girls, and the agencies here have the most reliable, easy-to-book services with lots of GFE spinners that I enjoy. You guys have it good!
I agree with hungry101. I can find escorts for a similar price that I find in montreal, but they are skanky girls off backpage and who knows what will happen. I have stumbled across a few gems that I try to hold on to, but the risk level is really high.

I’ve only been doing this for about two years now and admittedly I haven’t hobbied in that many other places besides Lisbon, Barcelona and just twice in the States. Even though you will find similar prices and service in Spain and Portugal, I still prefer Montreal over them. There’s just something about Québécoise girls!

See the first post of this thread. Since that time Euphoria abruptly left the scene + it seems, key word “seems”, as if recruitment got hit a little bit. How could it not take a hit without James and his stellar team? However, many of the Euphoria girls, with some exceptions, have moved on to other agencies, though some of those girls have reduced their work schedules considerably. My question is, “In your minds how did 2017 compare to other years, and absent Euphoria from the marketplace, have any of your thoughts changed compared to the sage advice many of you proffered back in the fall?” Thanks to all! The only thing that sucked for me personally is seeing Euphoria go down. Because James a good guy, because he had a great line up and because it was so close to my office haha! I do feel that Montreal is right now as strong as it ever was. Perhaps I am fooled because I have not been here many years or because I live here

In terms of the question comparing 2017 to other years I see no drop off. I have not partaken of unicorns, so that isn't part of my opinion. I first came to montreal during 2004-2006, then returned around 2014. My experiences since 2014 have been superb and I had just as much fun in 2017 as in 2016 o 2015. The girls move around and I have to do proper research, but I always find amazing petite girls for a very reasonable price. I hobby regularly in boston and I have found things that work well, but if I could go to montreal every month I would prefer that.
I’m intrigued by the multiple favorable mentions of Barcelona. For you guys who’ve enjoyed Barcelona, what hobby resources did you use for research? Is there a MERB equivalent or something similar?
