Rosie hits hard. not one scene, the whole movie is a wake up call showing the struggles of common folk vs greed.

The scene in Bad Lieutenant port of call New Orleans where Nicolas Cage plays a cop addicted to drugs who uses his influence to get drugs off of the sexy Katie Chonaca' s and her BF in the dark parking lot outside a nightclub. He's goes on to fuck her in the parking lot as her BF is forced to watch, lol.

Ma conjointe m'en a souvent parlé et ça avait frappé mon imaginaire quand j'étais plus jeune.
Je n'ai seulement visionné que la scène du kidnapping et des premiers instants dans le camion... et je n'en pouvais déjà plus...

En tant que cinéphile, particulièrement fan de films d'horreur, les films qui me sont les plus difficiles et que j'ai été incapable de terminer en un seul visionnement sont les films d'horreur français et européens en général. Je parle ici de films qui valent la peine d'êtres vus pour leur qualité artistique et non de films gores qui veulent simplement choquer.
Quelques exemples:

Irreversible (2002)
Martyrs (2008)
En général, les films dont la brutalité n'est pas alléger par le cadre ou le montage, des plans fixes et longs qui forcent le regard sur la souffrance sont les plus difficiles pour moi. Je ne recherche pas ce genre de sensations fortes, ça me rend très mal à l'aise mais je peux reconnaître que ces films sont compétents dans ce malaise qu'ils veulent inspirer chez leurs spectateurs.

I remember quite well when this happened. She was blacklisted from porn when the scandal came out. The next thing you know she’s appearing on a very popular agency’s website. I think her name was Lana. Anywas i contact the agency’s owner & ask him what the fuck is he thinking hiring her? He told me he didn’t know what i was talking about so i told him the story. Anyways i’m sure others complained but the agency immediately fired “Lana”. A couple of days later i’m talking with a female agency owner whom i was friends with & i mention this to her. I tell her that public health & the authorities need to get involved if a girl who knows she’s HIV positive continues to try working as a sex worker! She agrees & asks me if i know how the girl looks. So i emailed her a picture (you couldn’t text pictures back then) and then my friend says “Holy shit! I just interviewed her yesterday! She never mentioned anything! I was going to hire her! Thank god i spoke to you today! I’m gonna contact other agencies i know & warn them about her!”

Quite true. I actually saw Darren James interviewed recently. He never mentioned the ‘incident’ that led to him being banned from porn. As for Lara Roxx i’m surprised she didn’t end up with AIDS but i’m happy for her.
By the way James never gave her AIDS. What he was suspected of infecting her with was HIV.
In 2003, it was indeed more likely for an HIV diagnosis to progress to AIDS, as the treatments available at that time were not as advanced or effective as they are now in managing the virus and preventing the progression of the disease.

Not out yet but the trailer is pretty intense considering fiction could be used to prepare us to accept.
