Hello everyone

So location and date is now set. It will be at a private resto in old montreal Fibo Lounge to be exact. The date will be Thursday October 30th 2014 from 7pm-3am. Unfortunately we can't do it on the actual friday because too many girls/indy's have personal parties to go to and i want there to be the maximum amount of ladies. Costume is a must! IF YOU DO NOT COME IN COSTUME YOU WILL BE REFUSED AT THE DOOR NO EXCEPTIONS. Cover charge is 30$ and will get you 3 drinks of your choice (domestic beers & speed rail) as well as finger food. Please keep in mind that tipping your barmaid/waitress is not included. If you would like bottle service please email me for info/price!

The Venue : a private restaurant lounge that will be decorated for the event at 215 notre dame west.

How to attend : email me at [email protected] with the name that you will be using (and your guest's name if you have invited). This will be checked at the door by security. You will be given your access bracelet ( so you can come in and out at will) as well as your 3 drinks vouchers once your cover charge is taken care of. If you would like bottle service please inquire in your email. We will also have a food buffet for you throughtout the night

The event : will showcase our entire roster of ladies as well as our invited indy companions. Besides the fabulous party decor, DJ Blue Elephant will be providing music all night long! Raffle prizes, circus performers and more!!!

How about holding them on consecutive nights? Everyone is in town for the weekend so you have one on Friday and the other on Saturday. Common sense demands it.

Back to back GT nights means obvious comparisons, that will be on offer. In that case, I hope they both have different themes.

One thing to note though .... It is likely good for out of towers since they can easily plan a visit, but not necessarily for local people. In contrast, a lot of them might be doing the reverse, planning a trip outside of Montreal.

Perhaps, a weekend prior or later than the GG could make sense as well.

Personally, I will be in town, so look forward to attending if I get the opportunity. Please keep me in the loop!!

It is easier for the locals to adjust their schedules to stay home one weekend than it is for out of towners to be required to adjust their schedules to go away two separate weekends.

As things stand now everyone is already going to be in Montreal on one weekend. The local guys can simply adjust their plans to travel some other weekend.

If you are talking about Canadian out of towners, well, you know more than I. For Americans the 4th of July is a big family weekend for most, and lot of people will be getting together in the States on Saturday or Sunday, not necessarily on Friday because many still work on the holiday itself since stores do not shut down. In that case having two GTs on this weekend means being shut out of both.

The double GT fantasy is a great one in theory. However, I was also wondering about those who have money, but are not the type who can afford to splurge over two GTs on the same weekend, all the more so with the costs of other events going on. The second GT may suffer a bit from cash drain. With GG on Friday, it seems better to have MTLGFE weeks earlier or later.

It would make sense to have it a month later in order to maximize the number of people to attend it. If not, have it the day after the GG party, but you might not have as many people attending it since they might already be partied out.

If you have the party too close to the GG one, you'll have less people attending since most out-of-towners won't feel like going back to Mtl so soon and usually will want to wait maybe 4-5 weeks before returning.

Doc does have a point about people being partied out after the 1st of back to backs. I had a hangover after GG3 that lasted the entire weekend. Maybe it would be better to do it in mid August. Pick a date, give everyone advance notice and then there are no excuses as everyone can adjust their schedules.

Ho-ray! I love these things! Mid-August would be great. Please split these up so people will have a better chance of being able to make one or the other. I fear that many of us will not be able to make a date the Holiday weekend anyway.

I have to admit that mid August would suit my schedule way better. It's been a long time that I wanted to attend a GT but never had the chance to do so due to schedules that didn't work... I'll be away and travelling from May 20th to August 8...
If you do it mid august, please count me in :nod:

Personally i am ok for back to back nights if my buddy will let me sleep on his couch... lol but 1 week difference is impossible...

Of course at least one month difference is the best, if not 2 months...
