Why do you do this to me Milwaukee??
Haven’t been disappointed like this since I put money on the Apollo Creed fight.

I'd love it, but I don't think it is going to be easy.

I saw the end of the game. I was very surprised by the result of this series as Mike Budenholzer is an excellent coach but it appears he was out-coached. What the Raptors do well is defend the pick and roll. When the score was 97-94 the Bucks had the ball and they ran an excellent pick and roll with Giannis. The play looked perfectly executed and against most NBA teams it’s a free lane for Giannis, a dunk, and maybe an and one. Someone on the Raptors saw it coming and tipped the pass away from Giannis last second. That is a game winning defensive play. I don’t know who made that play, I will have to watch the replay on it. But that kind of pick and roll defense can disrupt other teams and win games. I would still consider the Warriors a substantial favorite, and if Durant plays a prohibitive favorite. Toronto does have homecourt advantage going for them. But the Warriors have the best shooting backcourt in NBA history- they call those guards the Splash Brothers for a reason- and the best big man in the game in Durant. The Warriors also have excellent veteran role players coming off the bench like Andre Iguodola and Shaun Livingston who have proven themselves to be absolute money players when called upon.

Great analysis EB . By the way I think the player you where referring to was Siakam ( the on who broke the pick) .
It’s a shame really how they crumbled under pressure. I still believe that had Milwaukee been able to progress they whould have beaten Golden State . The dynamics of an underdog/ favourite always plays a big role in my opinion. At times the Bucks looked like the weight of expectations had caught up to them . Whereas Toronto relished the role of underdog and run with it . I know that I’m oversimplifying things but I believe if their roles whould have been reversed we whould have had a different outcome. That is the nature of sports. Experienced teams tend to deal better with being the favourites.

That being said Nick Nurse definitely out coached Budenholzer , which I never thought whould happen. The Bucks system to begin with was never about X’ and O’s . It was all about embracing the 3point shot , great defence that led to easy fast break points and some paint dominance from their star player. Kudos to Nurse for believing in he’s team , something that rubbed off on he’s players. That’s what great coaches do . As far as tactics they forced Milwaukee in a half court offence where they didn’t always excel. Good defence on Giannis and good job on contesting a lot of Milwaukee’s threes . In the end once again you have to lose before you win , those growing pains that everyone talks about. And Toronto did have more players that had been there before. There is no substitute for experience sometimes. In closing for me the mvp of this series was Nick Nurse however silly that sounds . And now that they upset my team I’m left with no choice but to wish Good luck to the Raptors.

Got caught with my pants down for picking the Bucs to beat the Raptors!...lol!

Should be a good series between the Warriors and the Raptors...without Durant it may be a closer series than expected!

I like the Warriors!

Don’t feel bad . We all got ambushed

I will feel a bit better if we got beat by the eventual Champions.

Before Sundays loss against GS I think they had a great run of five consecutive wins . It was a missed opportunity at home but you cannot win them all . And yes Basketball is a game of runs we get that part . Still you can’t expect to beat a championship team like the Warriors when that drought is something like 20 baskets to none . They have to do much better in the second half against GS ,, a team that is known to outscore they’re opponents in the third and fourth quarters . They just can’t afford those long costly dry spells .
Gaby I hope you continue watching the Raptors because ever since you started supporting them you brought them luck and now in Cali they will need it the most .

This is definitely not the same Warriors team that we are accustomed to watching even with their Game 2 victory!

Even though they have a deep bench it’s still hard to play without two of your best players.
Plus Toronto is for Real . If they where able to beat Milwaukee four straight times then they are certainly capable of beating a hurting Warriors team . Don’t know how it’s gonna play out but at this point I wouldn’t be surprised if Toronto won the next one .

There was no question as far as the Raptors were concerned for game 3: they totally killed Golden State last night. Steph Curry was amazing as usual...but he can't do all the work for his team.

I think Toronto has a very good chance of winning the NBA title, given what I've seen so far. Lowry was on fire last night. But that crazy fan that shoved him though...that shit ain't right.

What a game tonight: for sure it's Toronto's year! Sorry GS...but Steph Curry can't do everything for ya...

Only ONE(!) win left until the Raptors make NBA history!
