I am a soccer maniac. For me Soccer is the best women's sport to watch. So much drama. Such absolute cutie in so many teams.. And those legs my god! I love fit soccer girl
As for Canada I am not impressed so far. It's time to make big change in this team as they have not produce any offense so far. I know it sounds maybe crazy but I would move Sinclair to center midfield and put upfront young future star Jordyn Huitema (only 18!) and Gabrielle Carle (who has been ask to play defense... She's a pure foward!). With her experience and pass precision Sinclair would produce the offense needed. Anyhow they have only 1 game to make it happen...

Ok so Canada did not listened to me and got eliminated. They played an horrible game that goes along all their game at this cup. Lots of mistake in delivering simple passes... And worst bad decision... We needed experience midfield to build some chances upfront. Sad for the girls.
On the other side France - Brazil yesterday was magic!
Today almost an upset from Spain! USA needed 2 penalities to win. The second one looked suspicious...

Gaby Sam Kerr, probably the current best player in the world, missed a penalty for australia... These happens and has a coach you do not worry much. You do worry much more about the bad decision in mid-field and offense... and the inability to deliver simply long pass forward. That is much harder to solve. Canada is currently on paper 5th in the world but honestly they should be ranked 10th minimum. They have 4 years to rebuild a better team.
If you do not like Italy continue and root for England or even Japan. They have great team to watch.

Whether it’s the men or women playing and putting up great fights this summer in France,,, one thing is for sure ... Football is beautiful !!

Anyone watching the semi-quarters? It's half time and the Swedish ladies (so talented, skilled and hot) became organized and began attacking smartly after the equalizer. The German team seems timid after the equalizer by Sweden. Football is a beautiful game, indeed.
Watching Sweden beat Germany was quite a shock. It was a beautiful game. They had never beaten germany in 20 years. Germany had never lost after leading in 20 years. A great upset. On top of it it means Germany will miss the next Olympic! They are #2 in the world but will miss the second biggest tournament.
Now let's hope England can beat the USA they so much deserve it! They played the best so far in this cup. A final England Sweden would be great.

I too hope for that and for England to win, especially given all the Brexit turmoil. The US team has become too arrogant---typical Americans
(I can say that because I'm one of those crazy Yankees ; love America but . . .) Sadly, I think Team America will likely win the WC.Shocking that Team Germany was eliminated from the 2020 Olympics but they played poorly against Team Sweden. The German head coach said it's rebuilding time.

Well....like it or not...TEAM USA will be in pour la finale...i just watched the game...exciting one ENG had their opportunities...with 11 min to play they had a penalty shot...what a bad play and bad choice of player....Team Usa did it without their star....cela démontre bien la profondeur de cette équipe...on their way to WH ???

Like you I am a soccer fanatic or more precisely a sports fanatic as I follow all kinds of sports, handball, waterpolo, fencing , kayaking, modern pentathlon, hockey, beach handball, Aussie rules football, both women and men to name a few , anyway I guess you get the picture.
Football or soccer ( fuck I hate calling it that I have lived here too long lol) is my main passion.
The best player in women’s soccer is probably a toss up between Ada Hegerberg ( winner of the golden ball) or Jennifer Marozsan ( plays for Germany was playing with a broken foot is actually Hungarian but born in Germany) who both play for Olympic Lyon the best professional women’s soccer team in the world who won the women’s Champions league two years running.
Megan Rapinho played for them for a while and Alex Morgan( I would love to play a lot of games with her) is on loan to them but does not make the line up often.
Picking the Dutch to make the final was not a fluke they have an exceptional team and are the European Champions.
Can they beat the Americans, they certainly have a shot, but if I had to bet my life’s savings I would go with the Americans, too bad as I can’t stand their arrogance.
Do not! Yes the americans are arrogant but it's just the way they are. It does bugs me deeply in many aspect of life but not in sport. Sport is different. It's a game. It's just a game. Yes the Americans had the right to celebrate every of their 13 goals against Thailand because doing otherwise would be disrespectful. You played the game. I did too. Scoring is so hard that every goal should be celebrated.
Now would I love the Dutch to win? Hum not sure because like Shyman wrote only a Dutch can be as fucking arrogant as an American haha
That said I fucking love watching these games. My favorite player of this cup is Rose Lavelle for the American team. She is in my opinion the clutch player for USA.

When I talk about arrogance it is in interviews when this comes through with the Americans, be a beast on the field but humble when you are off it.
That is why I like Messi over Ronaldo ( plus I don’t appreciate the acting of Ronaldo on the field) they are both remarkable players and indisputably the best of their era.
For me the best will always be Pele, Puskas and Maradona. I know some of these guys were before your time or you didn’t see them at the height of their game.
Like you I love watching them and I marvel at how far the women’s game has come in the last ten years, it is now actually fun and entertaining to watch.
