Don’t F**k with Cats: Hunting an internet killer.

The series is not for the faint of heart. But it is taking internet by storm. The documentary chronicles the story of Luka Magnotta, an infamous Canadian murderer who sought internet infamy by posting videos of himself killing kittens prior to the murder of Chinese Concordia student Lin Jun in 2012.

i get chills watching this
Based on the true story of Marie,
a teenager who was charged with lying about having been raped, and the two female detectives who followed the path to the truth
i find as i got older little moves me and this really hit home
the ordeal this young woman goes through endless unsympathetic repetitious questioning only to becharged with not telling the truth.
and 2 detectives who do good police work to find the truth finally
a young girl who was bounced from foster home to foster home from age 3 abused
was raped and because there was no physical evidence was no evidence and the trauma of the event being young her facts did not add up for the detectives who not only said she was not telling the truth , took her to court and charged her with that her last 2 step mothers did not believe her he friends all turned against her she got thrown out of houseing where she lived and at her work she ended up quitting for harassment
only at the end does she get some justice but too late.i binge watched all 8 episodes

One of the things I hate about most of the streaming services is the lack of filtering and searching. The rating system is pure garbage and I would love to just set it to ignore all indian and chinese content by default. I use www.justwatch.com/ca which allows filtering.

Day 3 of my self imposed quarantine I already finished watching Argentinian first season of Puerta 7. Really good!

What I love the most about Netflix is watching those series made in Europe, south America or Asia. So refreshing.

Peaky Blinders is an incredible series about a Gypsy gang in England that takes place shortly after world war 1. Really enjoyed it.

Money Heist is awesome.
Fucking addictive too! I did the mistake to start this series the next morning my friend told me about this show. Huge mistake! I totally lost my Sunday watching almost the first two seasons. Lol! And I completed the 3 seasons the same week. I can't wait for 4th season starting in two weeks!

Check my post #30

Wow, nice! Someone told me that it's "the best" series on Netflix. Which I find hard to believe with series like "House of Cards", "Orange is the New Black", etc.

I'll have to check it out, once I finish what's currently on my queue (which is alot, lol)!

I would actually say that "Better Call Saul", the prequel series to "Breaking Bad", is the best TV series on Netflix taking into account the writing, cleverness of the script/plot, ensemble cast's acting, direction, production values, etc. In my mind it's equally good to Breaking Bad and several of the supporting characters from Breaking Bad are continued on it such as Saul in his earlier life as Jimmy McGill, Gus Freen, Mike Ehrmentraut, and Hector Salamanca, all of whom were characters critical to the success of Breaking Bad. I just started season 4, and I think season 5 will be released on Netflix soon. Some of the best character actors in the business are in this show.

On another note, how are seasons 3 of Stranger Things and Ozark, as compared to their predecessor seasons? I will pick up with those season 3s of those 2 series once done with season 4 of Better Call Saul.

Season 5 of Saul is just as good. Set your VCR/TEVO to record the new episodes every Monday night. Meanwhile, you can catch up by buying non-HD episodes for $1.99 on Amazon Prime. The second one will be $0.99 and pretty soon you are caught up (I think there are 4 episodes thus far). Saul Goodman is a POS but there is a reason. This is the most clever and interesting series out right now.

I was aware that season 5 of Better Call Saul is ongoing right now, but I prefer to wait until a season is done and then binge watch a whole season of episodes from beginning to end for continuity purposes, otherwise I tend to forget things that happened in episodes I watched months earlier. I think season 5 completes in April, and presumably it will then be loaded on Netflix shortly thereafter. With a clever show like BCS that makes you think a little bit about what's going on, I find this more important than with other shows.

BTW, kudos to Canadian actor Michael Mando for his portrayal of "Nacho", the reluctant, conflicted Cartel enforcer who wants to, but just can't get out of the drug business, despite his hard-working, upholstery store owning father's wishes. His character seems very authentic to me.

I don't remember Nacho in Breaking Bad but he is outstanding in Saul. I love all the backstories. Why Mike is the way he is, why Tuco goes to jail and stays in jail, how the Salamanca guy in the wheelchair ringing the bell gets in that chair...Saul's childhood and his upbringing and his head-scratching relationship with his brother, a brilliant but neurotic law partner. Saul is the most clever TV/Movie lawyer in the history of cinema.
