New Merb not TOR friendly ?

Hello

Since you moved to the new site I have been having problems accessing the forum
I connect to a public wi-fi network that blocks access to "adult" sites so I use TOR to bypass that restriction
That network is the only one I can use daily
This week it's been very difficult accessing Merb . I keep getting blocked by Cloudfare or the firewall (access denied)
Any suggestions as to what I could do ?

Nothing to do with your side!
The last 3 days including yesterday almost all day, Merb was under some maintenance either very slow or apparently down!
Should be better today!

I don't think it's misleading , I don't have problems with speed it just won't work

It took me 1 hour to just see the site and another hour to begin this thread because i keep being blocked

To just see the front page I had to constantly "Get a new circuit for this site" dozens of time

Forget about logging in , this is what I see when I just type Merb.cc in the address bar :

Hello Mark ,
It's a bit worse , worked OK around 11:00 then I started getting blocked again and took be almost 3 hours until I got access.
I believe TOR fools MERB in thinking I'm in Europe and MERB does not really like being accessed from (mostly) Germany or Austria.

Things are better this morning
Cloudfare hasn't blocked me yet
Still having issues with the Firewall but it's once in a while not 99 times out of hundred

I also got this "sucuri" warning. And when I log in to merb, I need to NOT uncheck the "keep me logged in" otherwise it behaves in a kind of hybrid manner in which some sections look like not logged in and other sections look like logged in.

Dude if you spent a little bit of money you could easily use merb without restriction .

-ExpressVpn (Mac windows and Linux support -including mobile os) very cheap too.
-Use lucky mobile buy the most cheapest plan and swap out the sim card when you need hotspot connections.

Yes you have a point it’s against Rule #7.

In that case buy a SIM card, switch the sim out on your phone and use the hotspot option and switch back the SIM card .

Or on your normal cell phone line use Merb it’s not illegal if .... your cell phone contract is a private one IE not your work, that your boss can easily demand the browsing history from a provider.

Or for much more privacy buy a used Android for like 40-50$ Plus a lucky mobile/chatr SIM card and use hotspot on second phone. Small investment ... but useful if Merb mods are stirctly blocking ExpressVPN etc. etc.
