Gaby even the archaic and scandal driven FiFa had to adopt the tv review call... As a result we had the absolute best Euro and Word cup. Just the fact that after play review exist keep the player on their edge not to make such stupid mistake.

Cheers,

Absolutely agree with your assessment
One of the best if not the best world cups in my opinion
If only they had implemented it in previous world cups we wouldn’t have experienced the controversies and scandals of the likes of Japan/ Korea for example
Also more free flowing and higher scoring games

As a result of this fiasco.....NFL to discuss reviewing pass interference calls......am curious to know how the Saints feel about it.....

They know about it
I think it’s because of them filing a complaint to the head office and accusing and questioning the integrity of the NFL in general after that no call that they decided to maybe discuss allowing more reviews. Something of that sort .

True that there was a miscall on the pass interference in favor of new orleans but what about the roughing the passer on Brady call... That could have change that game also

Had that non-pass interference call occurred against the Patriots, guaranteed that the call would have been overturned by the refs in a flash!.....You can take that to the bank!...lol!

Kind of agree with Sharkman
Not easy to beat a team that’s good to begin with and one that also gets preferential treatment from the zebras

Mium mium it sounds good Jalimon..so enjoy with your kids.....i have no preference in that SB... my teams are not there BUT of course will watch it.....just hope for a thrilling game....Pats should do it.....as usual their strategy will be running and running the clock....and again it should work vs the young Rams....

Pat's offensive line should give Brady all the protection he needs to be in full control of that game......enjoy.

I agree, the Pats should destroy the Rams...the Rams do not match up well against the Pats, and Rams QB Goff is not the QB you want to go up against the Pats!

The first two drives for each team should dictate how the game will turn out!...My heart is with the Rams but my money is on the Pats!

A much better Super Bowl game would have been the two best teams in the NFL down the stretch...Pats vs Bears!

I hope you're right Joe.t!

As I previously pointed out, my heart is with the Rams but my $$$ bills are on the Pats!...and it may just be déjà vu like in 2002 "the Silence of the Rams"!

Yes seems like déjà vu all over again with an identical 2002 Pats/Rams SB matchup , only difference is this time the Rams are the underdogs. Also another year where it feels like Groundhog Day yet again with the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Now who wins??
We could argue and debate the reasons why one team should be favoured over the other.
Endless scenarios and matchups, but none more important than the Patriots offensive line vs the Rams pass rush ,, whoever wins this battle in my opinion will tip the scale in there favor more or less.

The Patriots have the GOAT , they got experience on there side and they got a running game that’s coming alive at the right time and all in all a good core that’s playing like a well oiled machine.Deserving favourites ? Perhaps...

There opponents the Rams got a great young coach with a great scheme and though they may be lacking in experience they more than make up for it in talent on the offensive side of the ball. There pass rush is a game changer so there not without a chance.

Usually teams stick to the same blueprint that got them there ,, the identity and strength of each team dictates the game planning which doesn’t change that much from what they have been doing all season . So basically there are no big scheming secrets between opposing teams.

In big Championship games what mostly matters is not strategy but composure , dealing with pressure at the highest level, being mistake free and basically just executing. So it goes without saying that if you do the above things chances are that you will win nine times out of ten.Being perennial Super Bowl finalists gives the Patriots a huge advantage in this department.

All in all not an easy game to call . Just hope it’s an exciting one and without controversies.
Looking at the above posted picks I see that there is more belief in the Patriots and maybe rightly so .Good luck to anyone who picked them .

Myself originally was hoping and rooting for a different SB matchup but it just didn’t pan out.As for this game I’m leaning cautiously towards the Rams to pull off the mini upset , but it’s not gonna be a sure thing by any means ,, maybe I haven’t learned my lesson all these years and just like to oppose Brady we will see, anything can happen.
But as of this minute the only sure bet is Jalimon’s marinated chicken wings.
Good luck to everyone that has some skin in tomorrow’ game .

But as of this minute the only sure bet is Jalimon’s marinated chicken wings.

Haha you bet!! Just took them out of the slow cooker and reducing the sauce now. Will broil in oven later on. For the one that might be interested here is the recipe I made up for 24 wings:

- 2 tbs soya sauce
- 1tbs hoisin sauce (any recipe based on soya sauce replace part of it with hoisin sauce)
- 3 tbs honey
- 1 tbs sesame oil and 1 tbs olive oil
- 1/2 tbs apple vinegar and 1/2 tbs balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbs apple juice (I put apple juice in any asian or bbq mix... Could be orange juice too)
- 3 garlic
- salt-pepper
- 10 drops of tabasco

Mix all that and marinate wings for 24h. Cook 2h in slow cooker. Take wings appart. Reduce sauce by half. Cook wings in oven high temp with the reduce sauce.

Now will my kids prefer my wings or the 6.99 st-hubert bbq spicy wings?? I will let you know!

Ok pre-game about to start. I am now rooting for the Rams as I read in the papers yesterday the VP of busines operation is a montreal dude. Good reason right?

And I hope I wont do like what 2 or 3 years ago when the Pats made the greatest comeback in history in the second half?? I do not know as I fell asleep as half time!!!

Bravo!! Well done Jalimon. I sincerely salute your patience and your cooking skills.
Seems like a great recipe for wings. Hope you and your kids enjoy the great food and the big match aswell.Unfortunately for me it’s the 6.99 variety :)

Now all that’s missing is an even greater game from the Rams to make it two for two on the day.
Or at least a close and entertaining one . Wagering makes them more interesting but in the long run it’s usually a loosing proposition.
Come on Rams ,, let’s Go ,,, please don’t make me watch the Patriots win another SB . Win and my day will be complete lol
