Words from a BANDWAGON fan mean nothing to diehard fans, show up once in awhile when the Habs lose 2 or 3 in a row to support your team instead of getting off the wagon and you would have a little credibility ......

Start engraving the Cup now! This guy will be at best a 3rd line checking centre and will have little or no real impact – will probably end up in the AHL. The real reason he signed with the Maple Losers is because he can start golfing early every year – the day after the regular season ends! :D

It's too bad that the refs took Grabovski out of the game. It would have been nice to see big George take the little weasel out.

Correction: It's the Marlies that donated 2 pts to them, not the Leafs.

I think it has more to do with the fact they're embarrassed to have given him to the Leafs instead of giving up on him in favor of that little crybaby Serge K. That was the best move Cliff Fletcher made last year!! Thank you Monsieur Gainey for your tremendous generosity!! :D

I do not know what your proud of! If Cliffy can make such great trades, how come then the Martlets never seem able to make the serie?

what is it there playing? 2 hand touch football? ballet? .its hockey, give me a break geez,,,,, i saw the markov hit and it was clean, even the HNIC broadcasters agreed, even if Grabowski would of cheap shotted him, which he didnt, could you blame him for all the cheap shots he has taken from the habs players? karma's a bitch

Maple Leafs loser fans must be really happy that 2 of their most idiotic players had to injure Markov and Schneider with cheap shots. You guys will have to wait another 40 years to even get close to the cup.

If you watched 110% last night, you would have seen Michel Langevin clearly stating that it wasn't a dirty hit by Grabovski. He simply was finishing his check. It's hockey, not basketball. When someone like Marc Bureau objected, Langevin would reply "since when has checking been ruled out of hockey?" As Bureau kept on going, Langevin reminded him that if the roles were reversed & let's say Kotsopoulos would have hit a Leafs player the same way, everyone would have been in agreement that it was a clean check & these types of hits are part of hockey. Everyone agreed. Heck, half of the die-hard Habs fans interviewed on the street about this said it was a legal hit. Amazing!

As for Schneider, if you think that what he got was a cheap shot, you know zero about hockey & should stick to watching some minor hockey leagues where no hitting's allowed. It's too bad for the Habs that Scheider's is out, but that's what happens when you have fragile 50 year old hockey players with a history of being injury prone on your hockey team!

I never agree with him but Don Cherry is right when he calls both Burke and Wilson bums.

I've gone over every single Coach's Corner & not once have i heard Don Cherry call any of these two guys bums. He actually respects Brian Burke considerably. As for his views in regards to Ron Wilson, he simply doesn't agree with his coaching tactics.

Be my guest & surf to the link i posted & i dare you to find me a single episode where he's referred to any of the two as being bums.

Hello Habs fans,

I am looking for a Habs fan who wants to bet a bottle of wine worth up to $20 that his team will beat the Bruins in this years series. Just let me know if there are any takers. Only known Habs fans who have been registered members on this board for at least 6 months are acceptable for the bet to avoid any Tony-like fakes.

So...where is GoHabsGo???

Cheers,

Merlot

Hello Grape Boy, dont expect to see "gohabsgo" the rest of this season, as i doubt the habs will go far, and for the record, i really hope they beat bosDONE and go far into the playoffs...... its good for Canada and Great for the awesome city of MOUNT ROYAL!

Update...bet accepted by a lady. Identity confidential. And Igna, I see you didn't even try to back up your words with deeds...lol. Love Montreal...not the Habs.

Burke will have a winning team "HIS" way, NOT the Fans way..... they will win with or without John Taveras before all is said and done, but hey, maybe the mastermind that is Brian Burke has something up his sleeve regarding the draft ;)

So the Leafs had to show their fans why they are not losers after all. Instead of losing their last game and getting a chance at the draft lottery, they surprise everyone and win it. I never agree with him but Don Cherry is right when he calls both Burke and Wilson bums.

I'm in Quebec City so collecting my winnings might be difficult ;), but if we can work something out with a middle person then I'm in.

The Big Bad Bruins will totally anihilate the talent-challenged Habs!!

(but it'll be a hell of a series! If you're a Bruins fan, that is...:D )

So what exactly is your prediction then? To qualify as an annihilation that would mean 4 games with a one sided score. Are you ready to back that up with a bet? :D

Well let's see: The Bruins have better goaltending, better defense, better forwards, better scoring, better checking, better fighters (big Georges excluded), a MUCH better coach, fewer drunks, and home ice advantage.

(They also don't have Don Cherry to lose the series by putting too many men on the ice, like he did back in the day.)

Duh...ya know what Doc? I do believe you're right: the Bruins will take the series. Since anything can happen in sports though I wouldn't necessarily predict an annihilation.
