The boys and girls are still waiting...and the boys and girls who are leaf fans will soon have been waiting for 43 years.
Well Iggy since you posted this in April it seems that none of your dreams came true. (No Sedins, no Tavares, and certainly no winning city! Just more of the same old incompetence and excuses.)
Gee THIS poster sure as hell doesn't look like a habs fan! Oh sorry it's me again - but I think that maybe everyone but Iggy will see the point.

Oh I believe it, I definitely believe it (seriously). You've made it clear on many many occasions.
Me? I was never a habs fan (Detroit all the way!) but I do have to admit that historically the habs have been the best franchise in the NHL. The last 30 years haven't been terrific but give them full marks for the first 70. (And, to be fair, after 79 they still DID win the two Patrick Roy Cups in 86 and 93 - which is a lot better than a certain Toronto team has done.)
One problem with this prediction is that Crosby and Malkin are both centres so they cannot be the next Gretzky/Kurri.

Wait a minute, his "Leafs are now one of the top teams" and his "Markov's return won't have an impact" gems are still there so I guess he's really been slipping in 2009.
