Round 1:
Toronto (much to my chagrin), Edmonton, Carolina, Tampa

NHL wants coronavirus-related Canada border answer for Stanley Cup playoffs by June 1

https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id...swer-stanley-cup-playoffs-june-1?platform=amp

“The first two rounds of the playoffs are played within each of the four realigned divisions created for the 2020-21 season, including the all-Canadian North Division. But in the third round, the final four teams play each other. Currently, U.S. teams would be prohibited from playing in Canada without mandatory quarantines that would be impossible within the postseason calendar. The lone Canadian team remaining would either travel back and forth across the border against a U.S. opponent in the semifinals or, instead of playing its home games in Canada, would be housed in a U.S.-based arena for the semifinals (and the finals, if it advances)….”

“The NHL has felt that it could get a travel dispensation from the Canadian government based on how stringent its COVID protocols have been this season, and as more players and team staffers get vaccinated. To encourage the latter, the NHL announced this month that COVID restrictions would be eased for U.S. teams once 85% of a traveling party is fully vaccinated. That would mean looser social distancing guidelines within team settings and not having to undergo PCR testing on off-days….”

Who has more Power, the NHL, US Government, or Canadian Government.

Wonder if All NHL Teams and associated Staff were a 100% Vaccinated would the Travel Ban be lifted?

Let’s Go Bruins!

Ya, that is weird seeing regular season games going on while the playoffs are in progress. I'm guessing because of Vancouver's long layoff.
Must not be too motivating for those teams!

Yep what a thrilling day it was.....PREDS second consecutive win in OT ..wow....they are back...2-2......and hope they will do it.....i like Smashville a lot.....:).

Another impressive win by the BRUINS ......BERGERON---PASTRNAK----MARCHAND-- again and RAASK ont fait le travail.....this team is really the best definition of team spirit....and what about COL.....easy win ...my fav. for the Cup....

Ehlers is back with 2 goals and the winning one.....what a player...he will make the difference pour le reste des séries.....they are my second fav.;).

A little late/early for second round predictions, but for me:
Colorado seems to be steamrolling everyone so i'd take them over Vegas
Carolina over Tampa, both teams look good though
Boston looked pretty good against NYI, but I'm going to say NYI pushes Boston to 7 games, but ultimately I think BOS will come out on top.

If MTL completes the comeback I'll take them over WPG. If TOR wins, I'll take WPG over TOR.
