I think that's great, they should do the same here
It will put a lot of people in very difficult financial situations. A lot of people were relying on TikTok to make money either as creators, social media managers or simply by using their social media to advertise their real life business
Indeed, just like when Backpage was shut down for us, we survived. There are other popular apps available already for influencers, they will find a way. This app was not good news and I am happy if it's not used close to me.
This app was Chinese spyware it should have been closed a long time ago.
Your privacy is usually not that safe anyway if you are on some kind of media but Tik Tok was definitely not safe.
There are all kinds of rumours of potential buyers including Musk and Canadian Kevin O’Leary and they have all stated they would get rid of the Chinese connection to it.

I think they will put in some new ownership. The Chinese will not care as long as they get paid.
I do use Tik Tok primarily to communicate with some SA/SD girls. One of them I am now cut off from communicating, so I hope it's back soon because we only ever chat on Tik Tok. You guys probably don't know but it has a messaging app and a lot of girls use it for that purpose.

I don't know why you keep assuming people here know nothing about anything. I think the majority of people are aware that messaging is a thing on tiktok - yes, even people who don't use it or never used it. Because most social media platforms give you the option to send messages to each other. It isn't rocket science.
That being said, I'm not sure why you decided to stick to tiktok with your sugar baby. Should've exchanged numbers or something - she or you could've been banned at any moment anyway, it's best to move away from the platform after initial contact imo.
I suspect tiktok will be back for you guys when someone buys it, or when trump somehow paints himself as the hero saving tiktok despite being the person who initiated the ban in the first place in 2020 lol.

Because one poster already suggested I was on Tik Tok as a content creator. I have created ZERO content. I don't post any videos on it ever, although I have reposted a few. I am mainly on there because that's their chosen messaging app. I don't know why- you would need to ask them, not me. I have a don't ask policy, they want to message me there, fine, Snapchat, fine, What's App, fine. I don't give a shit- but they do. Some girl even told me she would only message on Kik.One girl was only Telegram. I assume it's different strokes for different folks but don't really care enough to ask why one and not the other.

I had no idea whether he was joking but I am not a content creator. 98% of my use of that app is messaging and the other 2% is reposting videos very occasionally.
