Just when i was thinking that a country like the US wouldn’t just roll over & accept the extremely harsh penalty (6 points reduction) imposed on the Canadian female soccer team by FIFA now i just learned that Soccer Canada & the Canadian Olympic Committee have filed an appeal to the IOC in regards to the 6 point penalty imposed by FIFA. They aren’t appealing the 1-year suspension imposed to team officials. Finally the Canadians are showing some balls!

This has been a problem for a long time, in fact the Seine has been closed for swimming for over a century. So how can anyone possibly want to be competing in these waters a now? Nobody is going to wave a magic wand and make the water safe whether it rains or not.

No surprise at all for me. She’s the most overrated tennis player in tHe world in my books & i fully expected her to lose this match. She’s made a name for herself because of her weird name & possibly her skin color in a sport where black tennis players are rare. And she lost her cool again although she was already trailing in the match. Crybaby?

Government withholding funding 'related to suspended Canada Soccer officials'
