The Canadians are also very well coached. If i could have my choice of coaches throughout the league, i'd pick Babcock.

Sweden is playing without Henrik Sedin, Henrik Zutterberg and Nicklas Backstrom. How can they expect to win without those 3 guys? Is this even a fair fight?

Injuries are a part of sports, good teams play thru them and do not use them as an excuse. They have to have a next man up attitude.

Price was priceless... a 0 .5 goals against average in 6 games.
...I wonder if the majority of Russians would have traded that honor for a gold in hockey?
Throw some more money at it!! American way ! (We can print more)
We know Russia is one of those countries that unfortunately links part of their identity to hockey and would rather chew off a leg than lose. I'm sure Vodka sales are through the roof right now.
Some Russians will be contemplating suicide for losing the hockey gold
MVP for Canada?
The way you see Russia reminds me Rocky IV
MVP for Canada?
I say it's a tie...between Mike Babcock and the great Steve Yzerman. Team Canada had talent and depth (credit to Stevie) and was by FAR the best-coached (credit to Babs).
Player MVP: A toss-up between Carey Price and Drew Doughty.
Golden goal: Jonathan Toews.
Biggest downside: season end for John Tavares...but an Olympic gold medal probably gives him a fair amount of consolation.
It's over...snif... beautiful closing ceremony,a bit heavy on discourse but ...and we won for men and women for the two canadian important events, hockey and curling! Go Canada lol
