Azzaro (and anyone else, of course) here is a pretty good article to ponder in studying the uniquely fucked-up marriage (and non direct-pay sex) scene in the USA.

Patron, thanks for linking to this article, and for your comments. It was a good read, and I think Bolick certainly is a talented writer. She has a bright career ahead of her, catering to hordes of independent single women that most likely will grow in number.

Although I mostly agreed with it, what struck me the most was her simplification of men's decisions, and what she didn't say. She praises the lifestyle of a single woman, and of breaking free of traditional thinking, but in no way does she acknowledge that a significant number of men are already there, and that this contributes to the declining # of "marriageable men". She says the good men don't commit simply because they have other options for sex. This is simply not true, but it makes sense that she either doesn't understand men, or is purposely misrepresenting to make her readership feel better about themselves, who knows. In any case, it's intellectual dishonesty, but amusing nonetheless...

This story is amazing. I pray for the movie.

Likely the affiliate is a third party that provides a real person for the man to chat with. It might also be connecting him to an escort service.

...

The code calculates a “FemaleValue” (percentage credited to the woman’s account) based on “MaleProfit” (amount the man pays to Ashley Madison). If the woman engages the man within 20 to 30 minutes of the time he buys credits, she’ll be credited with 5 percent of the profit.

According to DailyDot, they controlled the escorts.ca site through a lease and it leads to speculations regarding recruitment of sex workers there. However, looking at that site Lily Lombard is still listed there and most advertisements there are pretty old. Did some of you guys do business through that site or is it just an other quasi empty shell of that company?

I know its necessary in today's business world to get comfortable in dealing with faceless computer generated creatures who are anonymous to us. Our vital identification data must go out to many essential institutions and businesses if we wish want to live with the kind of ease and reach computers provide. How can any trust giving away their most intimate details along with their identification numbers to a computer organization with no accountability to the client? Are people so lonely and desperate for companionship they don't see how likely it is they are being scammed? Do they choose to ignore that danger to have fun or is the danger a welcome part of the experience they enjoy?

evangelical religious folk who first warned that society would become a mess if women started becoming highly educated and entering the full-time workplace in large numbers (instead of focusing on spousal and motherhood duties).

You mean women playing the same games as men?

I don't particularly give a shit about society as a whole

I do. Very much.

You say these conservatives warned society would face problems if more women made choices outside domestic roles? I ask when hasn't society had grave problems? What are the problems you refer to? Women make choices now outside old gender roles? Men need to be the breadwinner and shouldn't have to accept larger domestic duties? I say adjust and live as happily as you can.

I say any person can choose to live as they wish and I'll never complain about a woman or man making the right choice for themselves. Finding the right companion has always been hard no matter what the role of either. If you want a life companion find one who shares your choices and priorities. I believe being happy about what you are doing in life and respecting that for others will make life better in Canada and anywhere.

Thanks for the reply.

Where were they getting the photos?

The pics I've seen [on websites like CL] are sexually suggestive pics that seem to have been lifted from porn-related sites (they come in sets, girl in pose A, B, C and D). What about the regular girl pics? Face shots? Where are they grabbing those from?

Apparently, according to Avid Life Media executive, Keith Lalonde,

Photos were taken from abandoned profiles in the US older than 2 years and were reviewed for ethnicity by language staff as correct or as not identifiable (leg shot etc.) each was had their photos saved by the old profile # so we could track them later if need be.

At least, where Japan was concerned...

Cited from this latest Gizmodo article: http://gizmodo.com/how-ashley-madison-hid-its-fembot-con-from-users-and-in-1728410265.

Again, I can't wait for the movie.

Hey guys,
Have any of you had the chance to hook up with any of the girls from Ashley Madison? I have been a log time lurker of the site and I never tries to buy any credits. Everyday I have a new girl sending me a message... So I was wondering if the girls on this site are fake.. I wonder if they send you those messages just to get you to sign up? Every time I send a girl that messaged me a wink I never get a reply back. So this is why I'm wondering if this site is the real deal or do they pay the women to fish in guys to pay there steep fees to be a member. I would appreciate any feed back. Thanks

Are you really that cut-off from the world? It was everywhere that almost every women on the site were fake, made up by the site to get men to buy credits.
