Patron makes good points. There is more risk in the states. This is an increasingly popular trend among Indys in the states. SPs claim this is needed to screen out LE, etc. This is despite LE leaving Indy’s alone AND despite the fact that the requested info could easily be faked by LE seriously looking to bust an SP.

LE is rightly targeting trafficking, not Indy’s here in the states.

My concern is a real reason (for some, not all) is to gather information that can be used to your disadvantage. Her looks or service isn’t as advertised? You’re not going to write a negative review knowing an SP could retaliate. Say LE does in fact bust someone? Sell your client list to the media to pay your legal bills. Have a falling out with a regular customer? Out him to his friends and family on social media. The above has happened already in Dallas.

Bad Indys can’t use third party verification like P411 or TER to their benefit, which is why some have started shunning it and gathering your personal information themselves.

The second reason this is happening is that established SPs know it discourages competition by making new girls think there is a safety epidemic, as well as forcing guys to see SPs who’ve “grandfathered” them instead of getting verified with a rookie SP.

Look, most are honest and virtuous and just providing the customer with many options, or are worried about serial killers. But many are not.

Be careful out there.

SPs need to be careful too of course. Use third party verification, references, or meet in a place with video surveillance like a hotel lobby if safety is really your concern. Creating more databases with personal info isn’t the answer.

Personally the only thing I ask for is a real cellphone number (or) a reference from a reputable lady (or) a board handle with a posting history.

I dont need real life information besides a Phone number because my biggest concern is no-shows and fake calls. My safety has been jeopardized in the past but even this doesn't outweight these 2 times I almost became homeless (at 18 & 19 years old !!!) because of people harassing me with fake calls multiple times a week or even a day. And while fake calls happen with guys using real numbers too, it's a lot less frequent and it's also easier to block a real number. Whereas time wasters using text apps can just get another app number and fake book you again.

I ask for your real name and cell number. No text apps. Plus Board handle and SP reference (or) work verification. Some men, about half of my clients, are not board members. Giving work information/LinkedIn can help clients still have the option of booking while not having a "hobby" presence.

I find giving potential clients options, allows them to book with what they feel comfortable sharing.

I saw the ads in question. Its funny because i spoke about this on twitter not long ago with an US provider. I mentioned i would not give my real full name on a first meeting or "screening process". I would be ok with giving it to her after multiple dates if she gives me hers :)

I am suspecting the new lady who advertise this is probably somebody from the exterior unfamiliar with Montreal's way.

Personally i am willing obviously to provide my board handle, actually i provide it even if not asked for it. I think it add credibility to my booking as i have multiple reviews, a constant presence etc. It will show to her that 1, i am not a dangerous client and 2 i am also serious and not somebody who will cancel or whatever. I also am fine with providing a reference, be it from an indy i saw in the past or from an agency owner.

But on the other hand i would not provide my full name, no matter what. I would also not provide link to my facebook profile (i have no linkedin profile). Its not "super secretive" and if you end up stumbling on it, i don't really care, but i won't just "give it" like that.

And remember i am a rather open guy, i don't really care people know i see escorts. So i can fully understand how most other guys would be even much more "restricted" than me to give such infos.

I can understand if the guy has no board presence that an SP can be a little more "nervous" to meet him, but i think in those case a reference should do it. Plus there is many alternative options, i mean seeing somebody outcall in an hotel room is pretty safe. I doubt any psycho would kill anybody there :/

I always said for incall SPs should have friends around or "hired muscle" to protect them. Not pimps but dudes who would work FOR THEM as employees to assure there safety when they are unsure.

ANYWAY... lol

To each there own. Personally when i see an ads like this asking for too many infos and im not comfortable with providing that, i just skip it and "move to the next one"

So in summary, to those concerned with privacy issues, DO NOT give your cell phone number. It’s equivalent to providing your name. Remember that this is 2018.

You sure about that? At home we have "caller ID" or "l'afficheur" as we say in french and when i would call with my cell phone only a number would show up. When i booked for an agency for a litle while on the cell i would only see the numbers. I always assumed my cellphone would not give my name, only the number. I may have to double check that.

While I can understand that position, you would be coming to my private personal home on a first visit, so you would already know so much more about me. I don't think anyone would have someone in their house without knowing their real name and phone number. Would you?

Caller ID doesn't apply to texting (which is what I do, I don't take phonecalls)

I like to think that you should not get intimate with someone you don't trust a minimum. I ask minimal information in order to feel at ease and safe meeting someone. If someone doesn't trust me enough to provide one of these (in order to gain MY trust), then why would they trust me enough to book me and get intimate with me in the first place ?

Don't do it.

When I encounter any request from the supply side to share my personal information, I instantly move on.

Easy Going : I have used apps and burner phones for 2 years :p I know about all of this. I was more replying to the poster who said "never give a real cellphone number to a sp because caller ID"... If you use texts , caller ID doesn't apply. BUT honestly - someone who really wants your info with bad intentions can have it no matter how hard you try to be anonymous. This is 2018 as said earlier. So the whole "I dont want to provide a Phone number because..." is just an illusion :p

Fun fact, recently was told "It's not that I dont trust you, it's just that I dont want to provide my real phone number in case you fall in love with me". Oh, okay :|

Who knows
Don't forget your passport number, bank card and password.

I am sure "Candy" only wants to make sure you are not giving her false information.
If possibly make sure you pay the full amount by interact transfer in advance, its best to get these bothersome issues out of the way before you meet.

Don’t forget to divulge your PIN number and bank password.

Abc’s Of meeting SP’s:

Invent a username and keep to it, never ever give your real name, no matter how well you get to know her.
Use burner app for your calls/texts or an burner phone, never use your real phone number wether private or business.
Never send money via interact or other means, even to “well established” SP’s, always pay with cash.
SP’s who ask for too much info are to be avoided, they are in general not at all worth it and often way overvalued.
Never tell them what you do. What you are doing is illegal! Don’t forget that. Anonymous be anonymous
Have fun!

HM, Tucker Max is interesting to read, but his disdain for commercial sex irritates me. Not sure if he still feels the same way.

My quote is not about the actual real guy, but about the movie "I hope they serve beer in hell". I only recently discovered it was somehow "based on actual events" despite having the movie for years. I mean i know the guy who wrote it was name Tucker Max as i seen in the credits but i only tough he named the main character of him for the kick of it. The movie is super funny and seem so absurde, i can't really see being true to the facts. In the end Tucker (the character in the movie) learn a valuable lesson so he kinda redeem himself. But yeah he is an asshole most of the movie. I just like that quote wich i think is pretty funny.

Thanks Julia for the precision. I only just text anyway for meetings so im fine that way. I did do Canada411 with my number and it does not show my name. Now if there any more pushing software i am not aware about them. But then again with the right software anybody can do anything in computer stuff... so not a surprise and clearly not the worst than can happen lol.

While I can understand that position, you would be coming to my private personal home on a first visit, so you would already know so much more about me. I don't think anyone would have someone in their house without knowing their real name and phone number. Would you?

I admit that is personal but honestly its not something i would be much at ease with. Im an outcall guy so i meet in my hotel rooms but on the rare ocasion i go to incalls i prefer if its a generic rented place... with minimal furniture, doors and stuff. I never been to a SW home in the context of a meeting. I did vist a few of them "out of the business hours" tough. But they trusted me and it was a different type of relation.

HAHA ok maybe one day ill give a shot to the book despite not being much a reader. I use to read on the toilet boll, but that was before i had a cellphone :p Took me a year and a half to read Gears of War Aspho Field by Karen Traviss despite being a buge fan of the franchise in video game. Im a huge GOT fan and yet i have no interest to read the books. I dunno... i use to love reading as a kid and could immerse myself in those stories, but then again i had no game boy and books where pretty much all you could bring in "waiting time" places. I remember my parents tolding me to go play outside and what i would do is actually go buy a Goosebump or "Frisson" book or even a Factor X at some point with the spare change i did doing small jobs for the neighbors, or collecting consign cans and bottles around town LOL.

But with today's cell wich let you bring your music, movies, acces internet (with a data plan or wifi) or the consols like the Switch who let you play on the go, i kind of feel books are a remnant of the past. I mean there is probably very good stories in there as well, but i dunno, i rather watch them in movies or play them as a video realistic video game of today.

I see this a lot in the states. I joined a verification process and it was either 1. not needed or 2. not enough so I let it go. I recently saw a girls web site that had a form on it that was amazing. I thought I was applying for a job or a mortgage. I said fuck it.
