Did I say that?

I'm not sure why you think my post was directed at you ? No, it was not someone from merb. Haha

Btw - when I say real Phone number I mean as long as it's not an app. I'm fine with burner phones that you actually pay to use. It all comes down to the fact that it's too easy (as it's free) to change number 75 times with text apps and book a girl's entire days until she runs out of money and is stuck in the streets. I've been there (back when I was 18 and renting a place "by the month". I ended up unable to pay for it and spent a day outside in a cold rainy day wearing shorts and heels as I had spent my last dollars going to an outcall that, again, wasnt for real. That same person kept creating numbers that same day. Took a whole day stuck outside until I finally got a text from a regular and explained him my situation and he rented a room for me. Then again when I just turned 19, someone did the same (I suspect it's the same person actually) for an entiee month, booked my whole shifts with different numbers. I was moving to my first real appartment the next month and this unexpected BS made me again run out of all my money and unable to buy furniture and pay for the first month of my new place. Had to borrow money for a bed and the rent.)

People can be assholes. So I'm careful now.

Anyone that gives a real name is a fool, you can get blackmailed at work or your home. There are plenty of SPs that do not require a full credit and medical history. Just uncomplicated your life and see them.

Really? I give my real name. Not full name but first name. I even say what company i work for. Just not the adress. I talk about what I do. Not because i am a fool, but it does give rapport amd some girls have asked me for advice on certain things. A lot of SP’ have then given me their real names and opened up about themselves. I even gave carreer advice to help a know SP who was having trouble in interviews. My next sessions are usually pretty intense following all this.
If an SP asks me things in advance that make me uncomfortable, then i choose to see another one
Maybe i am lucky. But i have yet to be blackmailed. And nobody has found me on linkedin

Personally its not about "Blackmailing" risk, more about keeping a little something for me. And if at some point there is trust etc then its something we can share.

Julia, that really sucks. I remember you talked about it before but i didn't know it got SO bad. Hope this got sorted out. For outcall as another guy said its a good thing to have the person confirm from his hotel room phone, that way you sure he really at least ranted a room, so if its a fake call he will loose money...

What if it is another girl that is screwed and outside in the cold with her heels and T-shirt, an uncaring selfish heartless girl. She may use the info she knows to blackmail a few guys, not caring what the consequences are for them. If it happens on a TV show, it is a comedy, if it happens to someone you know then it is a drama. If it happens to you then it is a tragedy.

I have no idea. I don't even know, to this day, who this person is (but I know for a fact he/she uses merb).

When people tell me that they dont understand why I ask for a real Phone number I explain how easy it is to waste people's time with app numbers. If they still dont want to provide it I move on. I dont want to go through this ever again, and I value my time and safety as much as my client's privacy. To each their own, that's how I work due to my past bad experiences but other girls dont screen at all and that's fine too. Everyone should approach this "hobby" the way they feel most comfortable :)

No Julia. It is a "hobby" for me. For you it is a "living."

Julia,

Could the cruel hoax have been done to you by another girl, ( or on the behalf of another girl ). Or, maybe the agency to make you dependent?

I thought about it. Could be :

- Someone I once refused to see and who cannot move on
Or
- A girl who doesn't know that sex workers should elevate each other instead of hating each other
Or
-Just a mean person

I dont think an agency would have time to do this, especially since the only agency I would ever consider working with is the Unicorns. They wouldn't do this. Every single Unicorn I've talked to was an amazing human with way too much heart to do such a thing haha !

Personal I had a very bad exprience .And I will never give my personal info no more .I learned my listen.I won't get in to details but was not pertty and was sterssful.
if SP chooses to give that's her choice and for her is a business but for me is a hobby and entertainment.Yes it is different if I decide to see her ver often and get comfortable.

I agree with Jessica about giving the client options. I don’t need a real name if he doesn’t want to provide it.
If he’s not a Board member, has no references and he’s a newbie, then that’s when I need some sort of personal info and where I ask for him to register his cell on Truecaller. I also suggest his work number or LinkedIn, I don’t like to ask for it, but it’s as a last resort for newbies and some are comfortable with that.

Just saw this post, those demands are way over the line! Under no circumstances would I give my LinkedIn profile and Facebook info. I’ll move on, many other great ladies to choose from that don’t demand this type of personal info!
