Hi I'm Jessica from Naughty Nuru, my friends and I will be visiting Montreal for the first time next weekend. (Adriana and Lina) We will be staying until New Years Day. So we just want to know what are some good restaurants and places of attraction in Montreal to visit?

Hello Jessica,

What kind of restaurants do you want to try, the must see, the expensive ones? And for the place of attraction, what do you want to see, cultural, clubs, museum?

A few ideas; I just visited the Pointe a Callieres museum this saturday for the first time since moving here, if you like history. It's right by the old port and in close proximity to numerous restaurants in the Old part of the city, and fairly close to chinatown for restaurants (garden de jade poon kai is a favourite of mine and has a buffet). Neville's Dinerbar on Stanley street, downtown is another favorite in the downtown core - upscale diner style foods and nifty drinks.

Old Montreal is full of history and beautiful with all the christmas decorations.

For restaurants I love Italian food, but also love a good wings place. Nothing to expensive. Museums are a good day time distraction but I'm more of a night life kind of girl. I'd like to know the best clubs to go to. I heard Montreal is a party town, I want to see for myself.

Thanks for the suggestions. I love a good buffet!
