I think Fradi was trying to make some kind of comment about people thinking Trump was a king or a dictator?
I don't think he was saying that it was better (although maybe).
I suppose Fradi could think that government would run better in the US if they just voted for President and abolished the rest of the government. (The President could just appoint whoever they wanted to run things.)

Interesting article from October - a mere month before Joe Biden won his landslide victory with seven million more votes than Trump. Given the statistics from the magazine article, there must have been a huge number of happy Canadians after Trump suffered his crushing defeat. Even in Alberta, which was predictably the province most favorable to Trump, TWICE as many Albertans preferred Joe to Donnie.

Could that mean that Canadians don't inform themselves only on FoxNews and Trump's tweets ?

Just putting this here as I do not think this needs a thread. It should apply to most countries and any party as most believe that politicians are corrupt.

There should be a sort of code of ethics for elected officials that mandates heavy financial penalties, jail time and banishment from holding any public office or title if breached.

Obvious not party will get the ball rolling on something like this but it would be a great law for us who voted them in.
