Read when I got up this morning that in Michigan Biden went up 138,000 overnight while during the same time Trump got zero votes. If true ( have not checked ) that is impossible to happen.

That's certainly one way of looking at it. The way I look at is that North Dakota wanted nothing to do with the Democrats or that the Democrats did such a poor job to try to get that legislative seat that they were beaten by a dead guy. If Biden wins, there most likely won’t be any riots by those of us on the right. We all have our jobs to go to or businesses to tend to. If Trump wins I fear cities will burn. I think it's mostly left up to the States and their Secretaries of State on the voting process and rules and procedure. It's like that on the selection of electors as well, it's an extremely different procedure in each State. It would make more sense if there were finite deadlines and uniform rules for all 50 States, but that's not the way it is and it's not the way it's ever been. It's in the 10th amendment to the US Consitution- the powers not reserved to the United States by the Constitution nor prohibited by it to the States, "are reserved to the States respectively, or the people." Look it up, it's the law and has been since 1787. This is not some new development. It's called federalism and if you don't understand it, your ass flunks first year constitutional law. I see Canadian posters here who simply do not grasp this fundamental tenet of the American system.
We do understand, just do not agree that someone can all the sudden get 138,000 votes while the other candidate gets zero, the odds of that happening are astronomical. Then polling stations get shutdown then when they reopen boom someone all the sudden surges in votes. Do not care if it is Dems or Rep, should not happen.

I find it very strange that they can count millions upon millions of votes, but just happen not to be able to count the last 300,000-1,000,000 votes in the deciding 5 -6 states.

Whatever ultimately happens, it's clear that 4 years of Trump have seriously harmed his nation in terms of health, economy and safety. There is a horrible divisiveness in the country, largely due to Trump's love of inciting hatred. Pence, while not as horrible as Trump (no one is!) is quite disgusting in his own way, as he proved with his dishonesty while sucking up to Trump as the orange makeup lover told his ludicrous lie about having won the election. Pence is not the only yes-man in politics. The corrupt Republican Party is filled with such craven sycophants (Graham, Cruz, Moscow Mitch, and the list goes on) but for the VP of a nation to be such a shameless wimp is unforgiveable. The fly must be ashamed to have sat on Pence's head for two minutes. If Pence was any more cowardly or dishonest he'd have to change his name to Trump.
