YouVant,

Maybe its because Univac lives on the top of the hill looking down, and you live at the bottom looking up.

Well said, thanks. There's a panhandler who operates at the Saint Lawrence exit off the highway coming off the 20 east, who always wears a kooky hat, and greets folks with a smile. It makes me happy to see him and I always try to respond in kind with a bill, a $20 if I can afford it, especially if I am going downtown to get a handjob at some random massage parlour. I figure $20 for a smile, $40 for a handjob ...

Seriously, for me nothing has changed, I get as much buisness as I did before.

Interesting data point. Anecdotally, others have reported on MERB business getting slower.

You mentioned lessened availability - are you saying you are making less and attributing it to curtailed work hours?

Also, you mention expanding your market to Ottawa, does revenue from there account for a lessening in the Montreal market?

In other words, and I fully understand if you don't want to respond to this, if everything had remained the same, hours, market in which you work, would revenue have remained static?

Static revenue? Is there such thing as static revenus? I never had static revenus. I don't think I've ever known one girl who had static revenus (uneless she had the same 1-2 guys EVERY week), and that's about it. IF my 1 specific booking per month is considered a static revenue, then, yes, the static revenue has remain the same.

Some month I've had requests where I could have given 50 appointments to other girls, some weeks, barely had one request. But, that's been that way forever in my case! And from talking to other girls around, it's always been like that as well. The sentence "business is going down, not much requests" is something I've been hearing since the first time I met another girl 6 years ago. I personaly think the reason for that is the girls were expecting the big weeks to be the "static revenue" and spent accordingly... many forgot "the grasshopper and the ant" but it doesn't mean they get less business or not enough to meet months ends.

Also, we're only at the begining of this recession. If I am not mistaking, it's usually the lower income class and the middle income class that are affected first and who are the mass buyers. Again, I am back to "mass" factor. Miss Maria seems to take limited a appointments per week.

I couldn't have said it better myself "Lilly', but unfortunately, I don't think I'd be able to take you up on your Dominican Republic "House of Recession" as I fear there will be far too many men looking to take advantage of those cutrate prices, but I did get a real good laugh from it...

I'm still trying to picture that thing with the ceiling fan... can we try that next time, the clown nose isn't necessary since it might get in the way!!???

I do see that you have a very good sense of humor though.

Sorry, I should have been more precise in my use of language. "Average revenue over a reasonable enough amount of time to allow for comparative and trending analysis" is what I mean to say.

Like any other business, I assume you know what you made Q4 2007, and soon will be able to compare that to what Q4 08 looks like.

guess you haven`t been by the Old Brewery Mission or Maison du Frere or Cafe Dans la Rue any one of the other places lately....

Montreal has a huge homeless problem. On very cold nights you still see them outside begging or squeeging or sleeping in doorways because there is not enough beds in the shelters.

"In Montreal, authorities said an elderly homeless man found dead on Friday in a snowbank only steps away from two shelters likely died from exposure."

Here is another article, far more extensive, on this unfortunate being's demise, and a broader view of the situation. This holiday season, don't look away. If you have enough money to pay someone to fuck/blow/masturbate you, you probably have enough to hand over some cash to the Old Brewery, Sally Anne or directly to a homeless person.

Frankly, I'd like to do more. I'm certain there are those among us who would like to contribute to making the world slightly less lousy, I'm thinking out loud here, but could not the merb community, providers and clients alike, do some sort of fund raising on this board to make a significant charitable donation?

I'll start. I'll put down $100 towards a donation to be split between Old Brewery and Accueil Bonneau and 25 cents matching funds against anyone else's verifiable contributions. So you put in $100, I'll throw in another $25.

I'm not sure how we can get a third party to handle this, but I'm sure if there is enough response (perhaps best in another thread) we can figure something out. Maybe MERB itself can help out.

Overlooked 'in a city of many eyes'
http://www.montrealgazette.com/Overlooked+city+many+eyes/1101284/story.html

Early yesterday, as late-night revelers scurried from bars to cars and cabs to escape a punishing cold, and travelers departed for holiday sojourns to the homes of loved ones, a Montreal man with no home to go to was found dead in Viger Park near the downtown core, his frozen corpse draped in a shroud of freshly fallen snow.

Montreal police said there were no signs of violence on the 61-year-old homeless man found by officers at 1:30 a.m. near Viger Ave. and Berri St. He's believed to have died of natural causes, said Constable Raphaël Bergeron of the Montreal police.

An autopsy is being performed. No name was released, but media reports identified the man as André Gagnon, who was last seen at the Old Brewery Mission on Dec. 10. He is said to have been an occasional visitor at the Mission.

What? You won't book me in Dominican Republic? I know, it's not fun to take other's "sloppy seconds" but I am sure some people have that fantasy.

Now, the clown nose I think adds up, but we can let it go if you do not like it. :)

There offer is responding to the demand.

More agencies !
More parlors !
More girls !
More business hours !
More clients (more guys needs to remove the stress) !

Bad time = Good time !

Recession ? What's that ? Where's it ? I don't see it... yet anyways ! :D

More STI and HIV infections to predict within 3 years too because much more "services" offered! Yep, we're going to be as good as another 3rd world country where women offer bbfs for a few dollars because they feel that if they don't, the next girl will... that's crazy! There are already girls offering bbfs in the business and with a lot of new younger girl in the business, it will happen more.

Unfortuately, those who can stand their ground and stay true to their beliefs are the ones who will get out of this still fine. The new ones, more vulnerable and naive are the ones who have a risk to suffer of it in the end.

It's all very positive in the end isn't it??

What I find the funniest, is the guys who are freaking out about the upcoming recession are starting to make line up of reviews of the incall places they've been to this week, big line up of girls and more to come... Funny how a few massage parlors (which are visited by the same bunch of guys...) have lower their prices, but somehow, the average Joe who goes to those parlors is now able to see more girls than he used too... The guys are not feeling that recession yet? If I would be fearing the recession, I would take the special once with one mp or sp and get out of there, not spending the same as the normal rate to see more girls.... Very very interesting indeed.:D

The 3R approach: Recuperate - Revalorize - Reutilize.
Here how it works: Once a guy find the right sp responding to his needs, he treats her right with respect and discretion, and than he limits is activity to her on a regular basis.

Like that's ever going to happen! :p And besides "being faithful" goes completely against the purpose of this "hobby". ;)

Casualty of the recession?

I have been a client of Jessica on the south shore for almost 3 years since February of 2006 and have had 73 happy ending sessions with her since I had first met her. For me Jessica has all the physical ingredients; beautiful high arched size 7 feet, nice french manicure on her lovelylong flexible toes, nice shaped legs with a bit of a calf muscle, 5'7", weight approx 125lbs.
But unfortunately I called her massage parlor yesterday and received a recorded message stating that the line is out of service. This was a quiet massage parlor and within the last 4 months that I saw Jessica over there, she was the only masseuse available, working by herself which I always thought was a little dangerous for her .
If anyone has any news on where Jessica may be found I would certainly appreciate it as I would like to continue having her as my foot job provider as she knows by now exactly what I like as she is one of the best in the business in performing a soft sensuous foot job to completion!
Here below are the co-ordinates of where she last worked and if anyone has any news if perhaps they will re-open I would appreciate the tip.

Is this a sign of the times? Will more massage parlors close down because business is too slow? Or perhaps this was a poorly run massage parlor with no website and only advertised itself in the south shore newspaper "Habitat Sud"

I don't know if it is a coincidence but I met an SP, who was formerly an MP, yesterday who told me that the South Shore parlor they she worked at was shut down too.

But she claimed they shut it down because they were being regularly visited by a guy that was demanding protection money. He did a few things that scared the heck out of them, but rather than pay, they just shut down....

I can't vouch for any of this, I am just repeating the story...

Now here are some tips and tricks to reduce (and their application):
- Before buying something, ask yourself if you really need it (sex is a primary need, so no need to ask too long)
- Buy used things. (who wants my wife?)
- Buy recyclable products. ( can not find Ec0-condom, will have to contact Durex, Trojan and LifeStyle)
- Buy recycled products. (euh!!! second hand condoms !!)
- Prefer long life products to single use products. (is 40 minutes longlife enough?)
- Buy concentrated or large sized products. (not sure I can find more larger than the extra-super-long and largest.)
- Use re-usable cups and glass. (better than that I share my cup of tee!)
- Avoid using plastic bags. (plastic bags and saran-wrap do not give good sensations)
- Use rechargeable batteries. ( I am better than her vibro so we do not buy batteries)
- Rent or borrow equipment you rarely use. (in other words: don't get married!)
- Give away objects you don't use anymore. (This is called: divorce)
- Use both side of paper before recycling it. (Arghhhh! Should we lick our fingers after both sides?)
- Reduce the water consumption. Sorry, but I always take a shower before and after...
- Respect speed limits.(speed limits only?)
- Do not forget to turn the lights off when you leave a room. (Sometimes you should let the lights off all time.)

:D :D :D RLMAO! These have to be some of the best applications of the 3R's I've ever seen!! Thanks!

Seems that the newer independants are offering VERY GOOD Pricing, thus driving the pricing down overall, seen alot of the agencies at $180/hr coming down to $160/hr and lower, especially for multiple hours...... i guess some is better than none right? times are getting tough and its not gonna end anytime soon....... everyone needs to just "hang in there" ...... some biz is better than NO BIZ!!!!!!
