WOW.....dommage....nos filles ont subi une défaite crève-coeur 2-1 en 3ème o/t....oui vous avez bien lu en 3ème période de prolongation.....big credit to both teams....et la série se transporte à BOSTON....won't b easy....come on girls.

The Montreal team isn't built physicaly for the much more robust play that is played in the League.
That is what the league wanted to attract more fans.
Last night it was obvious for me.
Defense player no 5 (Keller) as well as few other Boston players physically dominates Montreal players.

What the PWHL needs going forward is star players, players fans can identify with and follow their statistical achievements. What also would not hurt are some sex symbols, you know, a Eugenie Bouchard type but with more talent, who looks good in and out of uniform and kicks ass on the ice. If male fans look at a female hockey player and find her sexy, that is a good thing.

The success of the PWHL in Canada has caught the eye of the WNBA, which has awarded Toronto with the first WNBA franchise:
It’s a no-brainer that North America’s 4th biggest city finally gets a WNBA franchise in this basketball-crazy city. And a great promotional move by announcing the team would also be playing regular season home games in Montreal & Vancouver in order to make it more of Canada’s team as strictly Toronto’s.

Speaking of the PWHL the fifth & deciding championship game will be held tomorrow night. Minnesota thiught they had scored the winning goal in double OT the other day however the officials checked the replays & disallowed the goal due to goalie interference. Less than two minutes later Boston scored in order to tie the series. It’s been a great innaugural season & the fans have filled up the arenas! There were 12 000 people in attendance the other day in Minnesota. And when the Toronto team held a game at the Scotiabank Arena & Montreal played at the Bell Centre they sold out!

Nice first season. I watched a few games. I sure hope the league goes for many seasons.
I agree. I surprised myself at how many games i ended up watching & the PWHL has shown to be a valid alternative to the NHL for people & their families wanting to attend a hockey game without having to pay ridiculous prices. I hope teams will play more games in the NHL arenas next season where their games proved to be a massive success. The league’s innaugural season was a tremendous success!

Princeton Star Sarah Fillier is PWHL #1 Draft Pick by New York; Called A "Generational Player":
A girl from Texas got picked #4 overall, how did that happen? They have hockey rinks in Texas?
