Most of the time a celebrity goes to the great beyond I am like okay wow. R.I.P.
With Patrick Stewart I was actually stunned and stilled for a good amount of time. Last time this happened was Aayliah in 2001.
Found out at around 4PM yesterday a few minutes after anouncement and had to make a post.

Same here. To me Star Trek had a big place in my life. I watched it a lot, the first one that I watched regularly was Star Trek:TNG. So yes I was stilled just like you. But also with Walter gone I was stilled again since there are only two left from Star Trek: TOS. And I am like damn William Shatner outlived Patrick Stewart.

Fun fact is that Patrick Stewart had a very young girlfriend nearly 40 years younger and younger than some of his kids. That girlfriend became his third wife.
