On me voyait et on me trouvait pourtant.

Yeah, that's the one thing I guess I understand about guys that go to agencies: the schedule. Knowing who is working, and when/where, has it's advantages, I'm sure, but it's just not what I'm looking for bc I don't want to feel like I got squeezed into someone's tight... uh, workday lmao. So, sure, when I go to MTL I end up sometimes going through a couple of my favourite indy companions before I find someone who is available when I am but I don't mind it at all. In fact, I think it's part of the fun not knowing exactly who is where and when and getting to see new faces if my picks don't pan out initially. TBH tho, if there was an IC around me I'd likely go broke, so it's probably a good thing there isn't anything like it nearby.

I'll speak for myself, for someone like you it's not as much a problem for short notice or even same day or sometimes a couple hours ahead because you ask for outcalls which is much easier for me. I have to go to the same location as my incall roughly but I don't have to get it ready and clean it after. Also sometimes our incalls are occupied by other people so we have to find other solutions or decline.

I think a lot of people don't want to post their schedule because it can come across as being "too available" or "not available enough". Our schedules also change a lot. I think sometimes when I give open schedules client assume that I'm either desperate for bookings or seeing multiple people in a row which is not the case. There are many reasons why some of us would rather not post our schedules.

I fully understand this, it's most definitely a catch-22. For me a full/busy schedule implies demand, sure, but while the scarcity of availability may drive some people to want to book more, it does the opposite for me. Not because of feeling like 1 of many people a provider might see in a day (that doesn't bother me at all), but because I'm always trying to optimize the best session for us both, where time constraints don't impact our ability to enjoy the time we have together, which is definitely something I felt with the few agency girls I have seen.

Whatever an sp chooses to share/not share about their schedule is the always correct answer for me.

A full of busy schedule doesn't mean the provider has seen more people during the day. Sometimes I'm not available after a certain time of the day because I'm hanging out with a friend. People make a lot of assumptions based on the way we describe our schedule and it can be annoying.. not announcing your schedule also creates a "rarity" effect.

There's definitely a type of client who is looking for a provider that doesn't advertise everywhere and isn't always available. It's annoying to me because I don't have another source of income, but I want to reach the point where I mostly have the type of booking I enjoy. It sucks but when you make yourself super available some people perceive you as having lower value and are uninterested.

Random thought but does the weather ever affect your mood?

it does for me. I can't stand rainy days! Puts me in a sour mood!

Trials & tribulations of trying to book a popular Indy SP is like trying to get a Formula 1 ticket! It sells out fast!

Tried earlier today but it is what it is.

A sort of "client hallucination" that I am observing occasionally on this board: the belief that escorts don't age or don't change over years. Often expressed as a surprise that service, appearance, or enthusiam is not the same that it was 3,5, 7 years ago... As if escorts didn't age like other people. I believe this corresponds to a tendency towards objectification of women that is present in some clients.

I'm wondering if anyone has bothered asking specific escorts why enthusiasm and service has changed over the years.

I suspect these things may not have necessarily changed, but rather evolved. Some may have become more selective, and less available.

Maybe the service has changed with specific clients because some things are no longer tolerated. I wonder what their role is in this phenomenon.

I don't exactly have the same outlook on escorting that I did 2 years ago, but I also think there are different categories of clients and some who can truly benefit from these services more than others.

But isn't it linked to the SP's experience? Meaning some services are tolerated because of less experience and the more you get the less tolerating you are.

Meaning that the pyramid of escorts from more experienced vs less is keeping that status quo

I think it varies, there are things I tolerate now that I didn't at all at first, but there are things that I don't allow anymore. Or it depends on my dynamic with specific clients, the energy they bring, their hygiene etc.

I think sometimes experienced SP's are more open to certain things, too. They are still here for a reason.

For me, it's all about respect, and I don't think I'm alone in this. There are certain types of clients I want to see, and some that I don't want to settle for anymore.

I'm also less likely to push for certain regulars to come back if I feel like the respect is not there and my energy is being drained for very little in return.

When you allow people you're not enthusiastic about seeing to drain all of your energy, you no longer have any for those who truly appreciate you or have the potential to be returning clients you would enjoy spending time with. :)

I think what I'm trying to explain is that it's a mutual exchange even if escorts are the ones providing the service.

This isn't something linked entirely to the SP. Mongers age too, both chronologically and in experience and their expectations and levels of measurement change. There is also a certain tendency to romanticize memory and to attribute more to the memory than the reality warranted. As Luna mentioned people evolve, on both sides of the equation, and it's not always realistic to try to recreate something from the past, especially if it was created in the feeling and chemistry of the moment.
