At least if you gift a SP something, she truly exists and will thank you in person

I think there are much better ways to find out if she truly exists and I will thank her.

I don’t mind them having a wish list at least if I want to buy her a gift I know what she would like and what her tastes are.
I have bought many different things for ladies I have been seeing for many years. For ones I see only a couple of times it is just wine, flowers, pastries and chocolates.

This situation happened to someone I know and it could have been very life altering for me. So that’s why I will never understand doing that in public

It's cultural and showing the need to be seen, heard or even acknowledged. In Asia, saving the face or avoiding shame in front of society is important. Like in Japan people prefer to end their life without anyone knowing. There is this infamous famous forest where some people go to do so: Japans suicide forest
