You're kinda stating the obvious. Clients don't use any platform to secure bookings, that's not how any of these websites are designed, or they would be illegal since they would work as a third party. Clients secure bookings through reaching out to agencies, spas and texting or emailing indies... A lot of clients told me they have seen my various ads many many times until they reached out.. I don't really think we disagree here. All I'm saying is that I'm treating this as an advertising platform like any other, and my goal is to build a client base, get new client's attention.. My goal is not to ''fund the review system'', but yes it's a review board that I pay to advertise on, I'm fully aware of it. Whether we like it or not this system exists and we are working with it the best we can. I do get your point, I'm not arguing with you. If I get more good reviews I'm more likely to get attention.

I work for myself and I need to do my own advertising, as you already understand. It takes trial and error. I'm not talking about clients here I'm talking about us escorts who advertise on this board.. There is a reason why we do it. Advertising platforms like leolist and tryst are less and less trusted by clients, for good reasons.. Too many bots, AI accounts, scams, OF models posing as escorts. I don't really understand why you're bringing up a poll that took place in the lounge, which few clients actually participate in.. (please keep in mind that I understand why this poll was created, and I have respect for the person who created it and don't want anymore animosity) Most of my colleagues who are indies will say the same as me, we do attract clients by interacting here, and I've had some pretty damn cool clients who found me that way I will say, but most clients don't look at the conversations we have on these boards, they look at the ads.

The proof of this is that I got a lot of bookings in Toronto and Ottawa from advertising on Terb, and I didn't even have any reviews there yet. Of course clients come here to look at reviews, to see if we're legit and if others had good experiences with us. My point was that for some reason, when you advertise on more than one platform, clients are more likely to trust you. Particularly if you advertise on boards, because if someone was a scammer or something like that, it wouldn't take long until someone would call them out for it.
Yes, it's obvious that SPs monetize this forum, but I did not mean that the site is used to secure bookings as a scheduling platform. I was referring strictly to the client exposure and the redirection of potential clients to various SPs through whatever avenue they use. SPs are figuratively "exposed" to their clients here (and literally exposed to them later. lol) Even women who don't advertise on MERB or who may not even be aware of its existence get some exposure through MERB whether they know it or not. There's more, and I'm explaining this badly, but I have no time to get further into it right now, so will come back to it later.

After a week of sweating my balls off in the jungle I'm absolutely loving this cool weather. I know the honeymoon won't last though.

Around the corner
If there's a board for merbist to review SP, shouldnt there be a board for SP to review merbist/client ?
Why is it fine to review one side but not the other?
Because one side is paying and the other isn’t.
Which SP would be stupid enough to post a few bad reviews about their clients, they would soon end up with none lol.
I am sure they have their own way of communicating amongst themselves that we have no access to.
