First impression was "reserved but easy to talk to". As for not approachable, I don't think that would apply considering our activities. 
Straight answer (but I've known you for a while now): You come up as someone who needs to be so much in control of every aspect of your life than it can be interpreted as slightly emasculating. You need to have the last word. I also used the word "rectitude" for a reason. All of this transpires in the way you handle yourself. Plus being beautiful adds to the challenge of being approachable.
