Indeed. Things have changed in the economy drastically. Like yourself, I wandered through the gay village in the east end downtown last week and was horrified at what I saw economically, boarded-up storefronts, for two blocks on end, right around Place Dupuis, metro Berri.

This is an area that once had a vibrant lifestyle and many businesses. There were severe social issues with crime, drugs and homelessness as well.
That's why I moved up north. and I don't miss anything.
I did go to a lot of festivals in my younger years too so been there done that.
In fact there are some events around here with less crowd.

I would sure not be happy being a young person without a house right now, the economy has tanked and will get worse before better. Many mortgages are coming up and the extra costs will cause defaults. Happy to be retired and mortgage free.

It would appear that things are quieting down in the industry. I have heard that from 2 providers and a massage parlour mamasan recently.

Is that possible and why?

It's summer and festival season.
Summer. On really nice days I stay away from appointments. Summer is too short and given the choice, I'd rather be outside than in a dingy MP or at an incall + traffic
There are plenty of overcast days for fckg around :)

I love making information threads. I realize that this activity/dating style isn’t really something you can just talk about with your friends, family and colleagues so if you have any questions, you’re gonna be stuck with them

Can someone explain me how 30+ degree heat like we're feeling today is supposed to be enjoyable?

It's horrible for sure, but I've been working on my tan, laying down in speedo on my balcony. Now ready for a cold shower!

It makes airconditioned rooms feel that much better to enter. Women are barely dressed, & men are barely dressed. The nice cars are out to admire. Stop and smell the fragrant air around a lavender tree... ect.

Remember this time 1-2months ago we were wearing winter coats.

I prefer winter ;) as I don't like to feel the heat. I understand people who enjoy summer, but not those who enjoy being (not close to water...) in 30+ degree heat.

Following Lena's trend, and my endless willingness to counterbalance her rectitude, I should start "Anal: The Basics".

From my POV, you girls would have a blast :D

Merb is a person, you’re the little devil on the left shoulder and I’m the little angel on the right shoulder.
