Well fuck, have to drive back to the Carreford mall. Lost my wallet there and gave my number to security in case someone found it.
After I got through the tunnel at 4pm the mall called and someone returned my wallet money still there, was not planning to drive back there when rush hour was starting.
Told security if someone returns it to get their number, will e-transfer the $120 I had in my wallet to them. Worth every penny.

I’ve been robbed by pickpokets in the RER in Paris last fall. Outside the cash lost, (around $300) rebuilt a wallet is a nightmare, worst than the cash lost.

During my studies at McGill I was into alternative rock…which was definitely an acquired taste not for everyone.
My fav band was Gentle Giant, their best albums were “Octopus” and “In a Glass house”. I also liked Genesis in the earlier days when Peter Gabriel was still part of the band…after his departure they became less “alternative” and more into more conventional mainstream pop music. ELO (Electric Light Orchestra) was also a fav.
My fav artist was Freddy Mercury from Queen…what a performer. Bohemian Rhapsody…WOW
My fav song of all times is “comfortably numb” by pink Floyd. The guitar solo by David Gilmour is one of the most technically difficult to play and a masterpiece…listening to it still gives me goosebumps every time.
Someone just cancelled on me last minute and that made me think: I can see why people are so strict about deposits

I had a minor procedure done and was given pain killers and combined with the pain I feel nauseous I need to eat but I'm nervous lol.. aside from that.. I'm feeling pretty calm. I realized I have to let go of my past relationship and I'm ready to move on and start a new chapter in my life. I'm enjoying taking care of myself and upgrading my apartment by making it even cuter and cozier.

luna is a really soothing song tbh
but all of the smashing pumpkins songs have this melancholic tone to them. i just remembered their cover of depeche mode's "never let me down again" and it's such a good song and so sad...That is annoying. On another thread on MERB here recently I saw a man chiming in about another clients experience with a particular indy SP, how the SP talked to the client for 45 minutes and the client only got 15 minutes of action and basically said that the SP ripped off the client. Many other members told this member correctly that you have no idea if the client enjoys the talking part or to take away from that clients experience because according to the clients post he was happy with his service.
This is the flip side of that, except it is basically the client ripping off the SP because they have no idea what the SP has to do to clear that block of time for their client, or the opportunity cost the SP may have had to bear if they had other clients inquire later for the same time slot or for an even longer duration appointment but, the SP stayed committed to their original booking. Especially if the SP is low volume day to day. Now sometimes emergencies happen or a client could get sick and a cancellation is warranted but, I think more often than not it is just blatant disregard for another's time. The only way this is even remotely acceptable is if the client is a long time regular with whom you have had a positive history then maybe you could give them the benefit of the doubt but, I think at least from my perspective a client like that would find a way to make it up to the SP. Anyways, that person has no idea what they missed out on. Their loss.

Je voudrais revenir sur le sujet principal de ce tread : Random thoughts, what is in your mind lately. What’s in my mind reading this thread (and others so popular) is not very sexy. C’est une question de langue (sans jeux de mots). J’ai remarqué que la majorité des contributeurs des fils de discussions peuvent écrire dans un très bon français mais plus de 90% des discussions sont en anglais. J’ai en tête l’image d’une réunion avec 10 participants, 9 francophones et un anglophone et la réunion se déroule en anglais. Ce forum est celui de Montréal, où la langue est censée être française. Je comprend très bien que la plateforme de MERB est anglophone avec TERB et PERB, mais qu’est ce qui nous empêche de communiquer dans notre langue? Je ne prêche pas par l’exemple puisque j’ai souvent écris en anglais. J’aimerais avoir votre opinion sur ce sujet.

Je pense que chaque personne est libre d'écrire dans la langue qui lui convient... Etes vous certains que 9 membres sur 10 sont exclusivement francophones et qu'ils se forcent a écrire en anglais pour le 10% d'anglophone sur le forum? J'avais aussi l'impression que Montreal est bi lingue non? Apres si vous preferez ecrire en francais allez y!
I just believe your word is your bond and there better be a real serious reason for you to miss an appointment with someone. Plus, you just lost a possible reference. Say a person wanted to see a friend of the SP they cancelled on.
I am not exactly sure how you can definitively say that the majority of contributors can speak French or that 90 percent of discussions are in english. I do think that you probably get a fair number of English only Americans(myself included) on this board that travel to Montreal for business and pleasure. This board is a wealth of information for them. I also know that when there is a SP I want to know more about or a post like yours captures my attention, I will use the Google translate to understand the French. Ultimately, I am grateful that we are lucky that we live in a time where the technology exists where we can communicate at all on a board to learn about people and email/text a provider to find someone who maybe what you are looking for than going in completely blind. Things were a lot different 30 years ago looking at the backpages of local city periodicals.
