Rapid tests for a client/SP meeting: realistic or not?

With the appearance of extremely contagious covid variants coupled with the declining effectiveness of vaccines, it is becoming riskier to have close contact with someone else. Fortunately, we have a tool that is becoming more popular: rapid tests. These tests can be done at home and give results in 15 minutes. Some indy SPs will likely test their clients when they show up. I have thought about using them in the context of meeting an SP (outcall) by testing her when she arrives. However, I see some problems with that:

1) There could be transmission during the testing period (15 min) if she is positive. Masks should be worn and distancing maintained, which can be awkward.

2) If she tests positive, the issues of payment for her time and dealing with the agency arise. One would have to let her or the agency know in advance that proceeding with the meeting would be contingent upon a negative rapid covid test, which I doubt would be agreed to in the case of an agency.

Ultimately, I don't see this working very well, unless it's with someone you already have a close relationship with (indy SP). Anyone thought about that or has suggestions?

I agree totally. What the OP is proposing will never happen.
I am also a little concerned about continuing to see SPs with COVID cases rising.
So we have 2 choices: take the risk, OR stop seeing SPs for a while!

I think this is a win-win possibility.
The outcall is privileged by these difficult times of large spreading.

For the Indies you ask them directly, for the agencies I think that the bookers cannot make the decision for each of the girls.

Another point to consider, doing the test with the wait takes at least 20 minutes, so it will be necessary to know if this 20 minutes is counted in the meeting time?

Useless. Rapid tests are only really effective if you have symptoms. If you have symptoms you shouldn't be seeing an escort (or anyone else for that matter).

They are not perfect but they can still catch contagious people who don't have symptoms. The viral load peaks one day before symptoms appears.

I usually meet every 2-3 months and January is usually a time i like to meet. But i taught about it and for now i decided to wait to see what happen and wait an extra month or 2 instead, and could post-pone it again if needed. Before anyone try to come at me, remember i never said i was gonna run after Covid. I know as an unvaccinated i am more at risk, so if cases continue to rise and get to 5000 by January, its simple math that seeing someone intimately wich saw other peoples multiple times in a week (and in some cases a day) is exponentially rising my risk of meeting someone who has it. Considering escorts are (mostly) young adult ladies in their 20s or 30s, they have lots of chances to be asymptomatic or with very low symptoms and could never know they have it.

Its basically the risk vs reward balance i mentioned many times before. I would totally go to the movie theatre if i could as i don't see this as risky at all, but i wouldn't go in a show's moshpit right now. I think seeing an escort when there is 100 cases per day is a low risk. But when it gets to 3000-4000 or 5000 thats a lot more peoples who currently has it.

Asking for an SP to take a test for every single johh or have them do it is completely unrealistic. I supose if the test are not costly and easily available the agencies could ask their roster to take one BEFORE starting their shift on a day. From what i heard they are fast and not annoying like the PCR one. You only roll the q-tips on the bare side of the nose, not to almost the brain like the PCR ones. But would that be really effective? I dunno...

HM, even the current pcr tests do not spear the brain like in early 2020. just a mere swirl of each nostril, about half an inch to a inch in. Just the tip.

Who said there was no fear about that? We see threads regularly about the topic of STIs. We take precautions too (condoms) which are not perfect but greatly reduce the risk. And we get tested.

I think their fear is not everyone live a solitary life like you. Then take it back home. Slowly it finds its way towards some one compromised. Also even if only compromised people in H, our system cant handle all at once, its like sticking 5 dicks in one tight pussy without ky, in merbite termonolgy.

Ghono. Chlamydia. Herpes. All can be caught from oral sex.

Herpes is very common. Most adults are infected but the majority of them never have symptoms. Chlamydia is rarely found in the throat. Gonorrhea is a legitimate concern with oral sex. The point of this and of my original post about rapid tests is that, yes, there are risks to the hobby, but we can (and should) take measures to mitigate them. Use condoms for intercourse, limit your number of unprotected oral sex partners. For covid, in these times of exceptionally high transmission, and since rapid tests are not practical for our situation, yes, I will simply not see anyone.
