OMG, a pan american pizza. The best I had was at the Yisst (in Villeray)!

Do you miss Bar-B-Barn ? I sure did!
A friend of mine invited me to a small place in DDO Called Cuisine Philippine Fernado for some take out to picnic at a nearby parc. I was in shock! Rice wasn't the same... but damn those ribs almost brought a tear to my eyes.
Apparently, Fernando used to work in the kitchen at BarB Barn and when they closed, they gave him the recipes and helped him open his restaurant. You have to call ahead because they run out fast.
As per their Facebook page :
Non-Combo Prices:
• Half Rack (6 pcs) – $25.00
• Full Rack (12 pcs) – $50.00
Combo Prices (includes fries or rice, plus coleslaw):
• 3 pcs Combo – $14.99
• Half Rack Combo (6 pcs) – $26.99
• Full Rack Combo (12 pcs) – $59.99
Ribs are available Friday through Sunday ONLY!
Rest of the menu look pretty good as well, but RIIIIBS BABY!

I do! To this day i’ve yet to find a place that makes ribs as good as the Bar B Barn did! I loved that place!
I’ve only been to the one on Guy street. Never been to the one in Pointe Claire.
There’s a new ecuadorian restaurant called Kawsay, their ceviches are so good!! If you have allergies, I also love how the allergens are all displayed in the menu. Their pork dishes are also amazing.

I think it's because the ribs at the barn were beef ribs not pork. And their sauce was legend.
The do-it-yourself lettuce wraps on meat you have grilled yourself at Korean BBQ are also no equivalent for me.
I love l’Express been going for several years whenever I’m looking for a nice sit down resto.
